I wholeheartedly think Iâd be a happier and more mentally sound individual if I had not shipped Destiel when I was 13
#this is a joke but i also think its 100% true#like genuinely#it melted a part of my brain ill never get back and it destroyed any sense of trust and loyalty to media#which tbh you probably shouldnt trust media in a broad sense#but it would be nice to watch a tv show and not question my sanity bc im noticing themes and tropes onscreen that are obvious#everytime i think two characters who arent straight might have subtext the destiel 30-minute proof youtube videos come back to me#and i become a 13 year old girl overly invested in proving that the thing that is obviously happening... is happening#and like mentally gearing up to get laughed at or called stupid by producers and writers whod rather suck conservative cock#than participate in good storytelling#maybe if id never watched spn things could have been different#and maybe i wouldnt be so angry#and constantly setting myself up for disappointment and queerbaiting and mockery#and once again this is a joke !!! a silly little joke!! and im not actually as mad or dramatic as i sound#but that being said i do think destiel killed some sort of innocence in me#some sort of naive idea that opportunity should be explored and potential should be realized#good chemistry should be developed and themes and tropes shouldnt be used in vain#but what it taught me was that it doesnt matter how interesting a storyline could be#the potential a certain relationship could have#the depths it could explore#in a society where economic interest is prioritized above all else we will never have organic storytelling#and the loyalty of the storymaker will forever follow the money rather than the story itself#resulting in shows like spn sucking conservative cock rather than commit to their obviously developing romantic plotline

Hello! Can you write one about Nanami where the reader is oblivious and they're really close to Gojo so he gets jealous often. Sometimes Gojo does things purposely to annoy him and one day he just lost his composure and accidentally admitted his feelings for you.
I hope u accept if you're not too busy. Thank you!!!
â a little push
â sometimes all nanami needs is a little push.
nanami kento x fem! reader
thank you for the request anon! iâm not sure if reader is oblivious enough but i hope you like it! thereâs some thick pining here hur hur, i hope you like it! i never knew i needed an easily flustered and awkward nanami in my life also this is unedited as usual
check my bio for masterlist and my milestone event! (âáŽââż)
âDo you mind?â
Nanami sighs, silently praying to the heavens you wouldnât hear the way his heart is absolutely panicking and beating wildly right now. Youâd randomly pushed him inside the teachersâ office the moment he got back to the institute at work, and now heâs doomed to hide his feelings while you look up at him with wide, innocent eyes, a shaky yet excited grin painted on your face.
âSorry, sorry,â you wave your hands in front of you, although he can tell youâre not apologetic at all. Nanami clears his throat when you step backwards to give him space, unsure if heâs happy or sad about the distance. âI was just really excited to see you back.â
Your carefree, lighthearted voice, along with that little jump in your toes combined with your statement â youâre basically asking Nanami to shrivel up already.
The stoic man remains composed, though, only shifting to adjust his tie while he stares down at you. Youâre still somewhat bouncing on your feet, teeth biting your lip â a habit you had when you want to say something but contemplating whether you should. Tilting away to hide the slight flush in his cheeks, Nanami sighs again, pretending to be tired.
The last thing he wants to admit that even though he is exhausted from work, is that youâd never bother him. In fact, having you bombard him like this makes him feel like he didnât deal with special grade curse by himself all alone just an hour ago.
âIf thereâs something you want to say, I suggest you get it over with. I donât want to stay overtime and wait until the blindfolded creep comes around.â
You giggle at his insult, hiding behind your cupped palms. Crap, Nanami looks away and focuses on the birds outside instead, suddenly finding them so interesting despite never paying attention to them before. Maybe that was the curse of crushes â it had people acting differently and in complete contrast with their behavior.
âAbout that,â you begin almost shyly now, and Nanami practically bursts when he sees you tapping both of your pointer fingers together, gaze tilted away from him.
It makes him wonder youâre nearly on the same skill to Gojo, yet still somehow look like a small, innocent being that makes him want to protect you from everything â even if you were more than capable of handling things yourself. Well, Nanami concludes to himself, maybe youâre really just that paradoxical that it makes sense why he can never think straight around you. Maybe heâs really not supposed to understand the complexity of his feelings when you were a phenomena to begin with already.
âYou seeâŠSatoru asked me out.â
Nanami stiffens at your statement for a split second before his head whips to you so fast. Youâre observant â of course you are, youâre a jujutsu sorcerer â and you easily pick up in his sudden change of demeanor. Your brow raises at his abrupt reaction, to which Nanami conceals by flexing his neck and rolling his shoulders back.
âI am simply tired from work,â he haf-lies, âSo, Satoru asked you out? Will you say yes?â
His words and tone are monotonous, almost bored even, but deep inside heâs so close to beating the crap out of his co-worker. Well, not really, Nanami isnât a man of violence, but heâs jealous. Of course he is â heâs liked you ever since Principal Yaga hired you.
Heâs never told Satoru about his little crush on you. He would be stupid to do such; Satoru would tease him to no end and maybe even be as childish to go as far as pushing him to you. Typical elementary shit, Nanami cringes to himself, watching as you look down at your feet with a pout. Now that confused him. He isnât sure what your body language means at all, but patient as ever, Nanami only waits.
âWell,â you scratch your forehead, âIâm really flattered. I want to say yes because Satoru is a nice guyââ
âHe is not. I do not respect him.â
You roll your eyes at the way his eyes darkens, ââbut also Iâm not sure if I should. I mean, Satoru doesnât really date, you know? Heâll be with like one girl and be with another the next week. I just donât want toâŠlike, fall for that, I guess. Not that I wonât, because heâs totally not my typeââ
âItâs just a yes or no,â Nanami cuts you off, his words coming out a lot harsher than he intends it to be. Itâs not that heâs annoyed at your rambling, he actually finds it so adorable when you get so lost in your train of thoughts that your mind just travels from one place to another, and seeing how your eyes just leave farther from reality is something heâs always find such an attractive quirk, but not now â not when his infuriating co-worker is intending to mess with your feelings. âDo you want to go or not? Yes or no? Itâs as simple as that.â
You blink back at him in surprise, mouth opening and closing like a fish. Sometimes itâs hard to remember that Nanami was a no-bullshit man who hit things right on the head, a huge contrast to your happy-go-lucky self, but heâs right.
It is that simple â and youâre complicating things all over again.
When you give him an answer, Nanami has to muster all his energy to not deflate. Heâs tired â but now his exhaustion and even the heartbreak comes crashing down all over him that heâs immediately weighed down and overwhelmed â so much so that all he wants is to go home.
âYes, I want to go.â
Itâs his day off.
Like everything else in his life, Nanami plans everything down to the last minute of his day. His day off consisted of him having the privilege to sleep in until 8am, then breakfast with coffee from that great cafĂ© a five minute walk away from his apartment, then heâll be reading books in his study for two hours. Comes after that is lunch, and heâll brows through some TV shows, pick up his clothes from the dry cleaning, get that special limited edition dinner of his favorite sushi, read books again and call it a day.
Simple, peaceful, no hassle â itâs the perfect day to relax.
Except it isnât.
Because itâs your day off too, and youâre out on a date with Satoru. He still remembers how happy you looked then upon accepting the white haired manâs invitation, your nimble fingers wrapped around his sleeve as you shyly asked him to come with you.
He doesnât know why you had to bring him, but he doesnât question it, nonetheless. Nanami wants to see how Satoru would react, if there could be any indication from the man behind his blindfold that he had ill intentions. Oddly enough, there didnât seem to be any. Satoru only beamed and deflated into a chibi, enthusiastically nodding along with you while you planned your date together.
Nanami took it upon himself to leave.
With a silent scoff, Nanami placed his dinner down on the counter. Because itâs his day off â and mostly because he doesnât feel like himself â Nanami went out to buy the limited edition sushi wearing a white shirt and some gray sweatpants, too forlorn and a little jealous to even bother dressing up.
Itâs stupid, really. Heâs been looking forward for this sushi for a long, long time, but now that heâs had it, he canât even enjoy the taste. His mind keeps going back to you.
Were you having fun with Satoru? Were you enjoying your time? Was Satoru treating you well? What was Satoruâs intentions when it came with you? The last time Nanami checked, you and him got along really well and youâre mostly the one who whacks the taller man in the head upside down when heâs being stupid, almost like two peas in a pod, except you were the smarter one. Heâd been so sure youâre nothing but friends and yetâŠit all lead to this.
Nanami pushes his sushi away. They no longer taste like anything, the texture like dried paper on his mouth. He wipes his lips with a napkin, staring longingly at wellâŠnothing. His walls were plain and empty, and suddenly, Nanami canât help but compare himself to Gojo.
You both planned to go to the local carnival. Thereâd be lots of foods and even parlor shops, ferris wheel rides and photo booths to create memories. Of course you and Satoru would go there; both of you enjoyed loud, bustling crowds, claiming there was something amazing about basking in the âlives of humans when ignorant of cursesâ while Nanami prefers his peace and silence.
Had you gone out on a date with him instead, Nanami canât guarantee heâll be any fun. He most definitely wouldnât ask you to go to a carnival with him either. It was loud, cramped, crowded, and itâs too chaotic for him to ever enjoy your presence and enjoy it alone.
Nanami closes the sushi box, turns on the TV and lets is play on the background, a wet towel above his eyes to relax his tired eyes.
He hopes youâre having fun. He hopes Satoru is treating you well. Nanami just ignores the slight pain in his chest when he thinks of you, laughing and touching anyone but him, and he could picture it already. Youâve always been so open and welcoming to everyone, he knows youâll have fun today, too.
Thatâs one of the things he finds most endearing about you â that your smile never fades and you never forget about the simple, little things in life to focus on to keep your sanity after facing curse after curse.
Heâs fine, he tells himself. Satoru may be annoying, but he knows you could have fun with him, and you deserved to be happy more than anyone else.
Nanami is about to fall asleep on his couch when his phone vibrates on the coffee tables. Groaning, he flicks off the towel to his shoulders, grumbling about how Principal Yaga better be respecting his day off, but the last thing he expects to see is your contact name flashing on the screen. In the contact photo, youâre winking with a peace sign held above your head.
You look so utterly adorable Nanami just wants to kiss you. He remembers this photo was taken when Yuuji got bored and asked to play games on his phone. Upon finding that there was none â of course there was none â the strawberry-haired student opted for taking pictures of everyone instead. Thereâs one with Nobara growling, Megumi sipping his boba-tea with dead eyes as if heâs so done with the world, more than twenty pictures of Satoru flexing his muscles and posing like an idiot, and then thereâs yours.
Nanami remembers staring at his phone for a solid minute, his gallery actually blessed with your face in it. The sun shines behind you on that photo and youâre absolutely shining. He thinks thatâs when he truly fell in love.
And it just so happened the love of his life is calling, making his heart skip a beat because shouldnât you be with Gojo? Why were you calling him? Did something wrong happen?
Nanami doesnât waste another second before swiping the green icon, already standing up from the couch as he grabs his jacket. He had this weird inkling something is wrong, why else would you call him?
His theories are proven true when your voice comes out shaky. âH-hello?â
âGood evening,â he greets stiffly, brows furrowed as he listens in on the way you seem to be shuffling around. âIs there something wrong?â
âI, uhm,â he hears you sniffle through the other line, âYeah, I guess there isâŠSatoru just texted he canât come because Principal Yaga suddenly sent him to a mission overseasâŠand then I just realized that Satoruâs been summoned by the elders and heâs just refusing to show up, so now they cornered him, I guess⊠anyways, Iâm talking too much and I donât want to be a bother, but would you maybeâŠlike to hang out with me?â
Nanamiâs hand freezes on the doorknob. âHang outâŠprofessionally?â
He immediately wants to smack himself in the forehead for that. Out of all things he couldâve said, he just had to utter something unintelligent. He hears you snicker in the background and Nanamiâs ears redden.Â
He quickly regains his composure with a clear of his throat, suddenly remembering that Satoruâs ditched you, so now youâre asking him instead. It kind of feels like heâs just a replacement, but Nanami buries this feeling down before it consumes him, wondering if heâs already regretting changing into better clothes because he actually agreed to go to a carnival with you.
Upon hearing your happy, âOkay! Iâll wait for you then!â, Nanami realizes that he doesnât actually mind. Especially not with you.
The carnival is loud.
Nanami dreads the moment he steps out of his car, his body swallowed by the bustling crowd and defeaning music of banging drums and clashing instruments. Thereâs a hundred scents everywhere â smoke, fish, glazed apples â he doesnât know where to begin or how to focus.
He nearly turns back to his hair, about to shoot you a text that maybe this is beyond him after all. His head begins to spin when heâs only pushed deeper into the crowd, people bumping into him with every single second and itâs so suffocating. It doesnât make sense to him how anyone could possibly go on a date like this and enjoy it. He knows for sure this chaos wonât let him enjoy his dateâs presence because heâs too busy trying to get away from it all.
Nanami staggers for a bit when a strong hand tugs him to the side. Soon, he finds himself pressed flush against you in a tight corner, your hips warm on his. âHi,â you breathe out airily, lashes fanning and fluttering in that same manner that always made his heart do complete flips.
âHello,â he greets back with a small bow out of faux respect, but really, heâs just keeping his head down because you look so beautiful in that moment he doesnât even know where to look. Youâre warm and soft next to his hard and stiff muscles, the scent of roses and vanilla mixing in with the street smoke and Nanamiâs head grows dizzy, his hand around yours tightening for comfort. âY/NâŠI do not prefer this crowd. Can I take you back home instead? You must be tired â Iâll prepare dinner for you.â
Nanami blinks back in surprise when he sees you nod, a slight grimace on your face, and you practically bury your face in his bicep as you groan, âItâs too noisy for me too. Letâs just hang out at your place.â
So you end up in his immaculately clean apartment, admiring and staring at the boring furniture. Nanami changes into more comfortable clothes and whips out something to cook, not wanting to feed you measly take out when youâre probably famished. He watches with side glances as you pick up a photo of him with his parents when he was younger, cooing and giggling at the baby version of him.
âNanamin, youâre so cute!â
Nanami scoffs and turns back to the heated water in the bowl, arms hard as they cross against his chest covered with an apron. âPlease do not call me cute. I am anything but.â
âNo, youâre really cute,â you insist, but after seeing Nanamiâs flustered frown, you eventually give up and give the poor man a break. Later, you wobble next to him, watching with curious eyes and a small smile as he adds the vegetables into the soup, moving expertly as he diced up the onions to the side. The sheer focus and attention on his daily tasks makes him falter, and he suddenly finds it so hard to function now.
âWhy are you staring at me? Is there something so interesting about slicing up onions?â
âNo, not really,â you say absentmindedly, the slight plop of the ingredients echoing. âItâs just â I donât think Iâve ever seen you this way. Domestic, I mean, but it looks good on you,â you nod to yourself, and Nanami finds himself struggling to act as if your presence wasnât making him go crazy while he proceeds to cook. âIn fact, everything looks good on you, and I find you really interesting!â
âY-you do?â
âYes, of course!â
âWhy?â
âI donât know,â you shrug, assisting him silently with mixing the bowl even when he didnât ask you to. Unaware that heâs now focused on you, watching you cook with him with you pressed up against his side, almost as if itâs right where you belong, Nanami feels the same with you. You also look good being this domestic with him, and he suddenly blurts out, âWould you like to stay with me? Like this?â
Your eyes slide over his in a slow fashion, slow enough that his brain hotwires at the fear maybe heâs said something wrong. But Nanami immediately swallows it down, huffing and turning away from you with that stoic expression again. âForgive me. That was weirdââ
âWhy would it be weird?â you laughed to yourself before bumping your hips with his, âYouâre the one who invited me here. Of course I want to stay.â
ThatâsâŠthatâs not what he means.
Nanami is left staring openly at you while you help him set the table and you proceed to talk about how you didnât really want to go to the carnival but Satoru insisted youâd have fun, so you went anyway even if youâd much prefer to be somewhere else. Heâs barely listening, too distracted by the way your lips move and how you swing the house slippers on your big toe, your legs crossed on top of another and your figure slightly hunched across from him.
You look so comfortable and welcomed in his home that it puts him at ease too, not worried that he has to impress you anything because itâs you, and Nanami could actually be vulnerable enough to laugh with you over a bowl of vegetable soup.
Itâs fine, he lies to himself again, itâs fine that you donât know he likes you even if he tends to slip and be obvious sometimes. Because at least youâre with him in that moment, and he lies to himself again that itâs fine, that maybe next time heâll tell you, but he doesnât worry about. How could he worry about it when youâre snorting so loud over a lame joke he said that rice nearly came out your nose, and heâs so drunk over the sound of your bubbly laughter that something flutters deep within his belly?
When you help him wash the dishes and bask in the silence instead, comfortable over the lack of words and nothing but the sound of his faucet running and the slight rubbing of towels against dishes heard in the background, Nanami is unsure whether heâs glad that Satoru ditched you on your first date.
It doesnât stop there.
Nanami only keeps falling in love with you more. Heâs been doing a good job of keeping his feelings to himself because the last thing he wants is to have you stay away from him, but Satoru was really getting on his nerves.
Heâs just come back from exorcising a curse when he sees you and Satoru play-wrestling in the field with the other students. Megumi is grumbling to himself in the corner, Yuuji is laughing and cheering on you to tackle down his sensei whoâs currently going down in high-pitched laughter, Toge pumping his fists and screaming, âSalmon, salmon!â
Itâs a chaotic sight â one that he usually doesnât mind â until you finally pin Satoru down on the ground, your ass above his crotch. Satoruâs hands then come up to squeeze your ass and hips under the false pretense heâs struggling to push you off him, but Nanami knows better.
âGive up already!â you tease the other sorcerer whoâs still wriggling underneath you, and Nanami sees it before it happens.
Satoruâs legs bend beneath you and he tries to pin you under him in quick movements, but Nanami is faster, his reflexes taking over. Before he realizes what heâs doing, Nanami tugs you and pulls you forward until you collide on his chest. Heâs breathing hard, eyes narrowed at the arrogant smirk painted on Satoruâs features. Meanwhile, youâve softened in Nanamiâs grip, hands fisting his shirt that has him hardening up out of sheer protectiveness.
âOh, Nanamin!â Satoru beams while wiping the dirt on his hands across his uniform, âGlad to see you here. You wanna join training too?â
âThis is hardly training,â he retorts with a clenched jaw, âYouâre harassing and disrespecting your fellow sorcerer because you can never keep your dirty hands to yourself,â before Satoru could defend himself, heâs already all over you, his hand tilting your chin side to side to check for any injuries. âAre you hurt anywhere? Did this bastard do anything else?â
âNo, not reallyââ
âWhy do you care so much, Nanamin?â Satoru teases, and the students all huddle to watch the commotion. Everyone can feel the tension rising, and Nanami only stiffens up further when he feels you lean closer to his warmth almost absentmindedly. âShe and I were just playing around, no hard feelings, no foul play. Weâre just having fun, right, Y/N?â
âShe is not someone you can just have fun with, Satoru. Youâve already crossed the line when you ditched her on your first date, and you didnât even bother texting or calling back when I drove her home. Itâs disrespectful, and she deserves better than that.â
âNanamiââ
âI was busy,â Satoru sighs dramatically, âAnd if she deserves better than me, then who would it be? I can take care her of her, you know, she and I have been besties for like what, a year now? Iâll be good to her,â he smirks, and Nanami wants nothing more than to punch him square in the jaw. âBesides, itâs not like sheâs dating anyone else. Sheâs single and ready to mingleââ
âMaybe she is, but Iâm not,â Nanami deadpans, his harsh tone shocking everyone.
âWh-what do you mean?â you squeak under him, and Nanami falls silent. Heâs never thought of confessing to you, especially not this way, and Nobara is biting Yuujiâs jacket behind them to muffle her squeals. Panda is clapping his hands and whispers oh, here we go, followed by Togeâs salmon salmon.
It dawns on him now that everyone knows he likes you after all, and now that heâs confronted with the situation, he canât run away from it. Not that Nanami plans on running away, for he is a man and his pride doesnât allow him to evade situations like this.
He just wishes it couldâve gone out better.
âForgive me if this makes you uncomfortable,â Nanami releases his grip on you, loosening his tie that makes him feel like heâs choking both on air and his words. Through his cool stature, heâs actually sweating inside his clothes, and it doesnât help youâre patient with him too, head tilted to the side curiously and so horribly cutely he might combust. âBut I have always been, and I still am, utterly in love with you.â
Nobara and Yuuji no longer hold back as they scream to themselves, the former slapping the latter in his back while Megumi only shakes his head, muttering âabout time,â under his breath. Maki snickers to herself and Satoru is stunned, but itâs nothing compared to the way you shrink under his gaze for a moment.
He believes youâre going to run away from him because of his blatant confession; it wasnât romantic at all, and the kids are still screaming too loudly for him to form coherent thoughts.
Nanami begins to form a deep bow, ready to apologize wholeheartedly and to politely ask you to forget this if you wish â he would respect your decision. But just as his gaze met the ground, heâs thrown off balance as you jump on him, soft glossy lips crashing into his.
The screams and cheers of everyone are suddenly drowned out when he feels your lips molding onto his, and he can feel you smiling happily, giggling while his hands tentatively run down your hips to hold you close. Itâs unprofessional, displeasing, and downright horrendous to be kissing someone during work hours while the students are watching, especially because his clothes are crumpled from your eager touch and youâre on top of his chest, but Nanami absolutely doesnât give a single fuck because heâs kissing you back fervently.
Itâs what heâs always wanted â youâre the one heâs always wanted, and now that he has you in his hold, heâs not easily letting you go.
âSee? I told you guys,â Satoru proudly puffs his chest up in the background, âAll Nanamin needs is a little push.â

Possesive!Larry x reader
i said it would be out tomorrow but iâm god so itâs here now haha
let me know if you would like me to make one with gender neutral pronouns
word count: 2593
she/her pronouns
Warnings: smut, alcohol, possesive behaviour, sal x reader kiss,Â
You had been dating Larry for a while now, heâs your first boyfriend and you couldnât be happier with him. He always comes to your work during your breaks and even sits down at a table and orders drinks while he waits you to finish your shift, so there he sat now looking at you so tenderly it made your heart race. He had been here for around 2 hours, ordering various drinks while switching between watching you and going on his phone, the only thing you worried about was how long he had been waiting for you, and that you still had another hour âtill knock off. So, you continued serving tables and taking orders, making sure he was okay when you could to which heâd reply âI love you enough to waitâ with a squeeze of your arm, it didnât really answer the question but nothing stopped him from leaving so it stayed like that until you finished and as you took of the apron which the restaurant made you wear you felt a pair of arms around your waist and a face nestling into your neck, you laughed. Spinning around to face him and peck his cheek. âI donât like you talking to all those guysâ he pouted âwhy canât you just stay with meâ he finished the sentence with a kiss to your head and you had never felt more loved.
âI would love to stay with you, Larry, but I have to work so I can pay rentâ you smiled, setting down the apron, taking his hand in yours and lightly squeezing it. âlets go, loveâ
You and Larry walked back to the apartments, hand in hand, until you reached his room. Flopping down on the bed he opened his arms for you to come cuddle him, you happily obliged settling between his legs, your head on his chest as you listened to his heart, his hand made its way to your hair tugging on some strands as he brushed through it with his fingers. âIâve seen all of you and your flaws ,I still love all of you so muchâ he said into your hair âI donât think many others wouldâ
The sentence sat wrongly in your stomach, you couldnât tell why though. He was right. Not many people would love you flaws and all. So in response you lifted your head, pressed a kiss to his lips
âI knowâ you said lips still so close you could feel his breath.
The two of you laid like that for hours before Larry spoke again. âSal invited me over for a movie tomorrow, I want you to come too seems its your day off. I hate when weâre apartâ you agreed to go and before you knew it you were asleep, nestled closely to Larry.
The next day you and Larry were at Sal, Todd and Neilâs place snacks in hand, Larryâs arm was around your waist as you waited for Sal to answer the door. Todd and Neil were out for a date for the day so Sal had the place to himself. The front door opened revealing Sal, his hair down and mask on but with the lower straps unbuckled to allow him to eat, he stepped back allowing you and Larry through the door. âhey guys, good to see youâ you couldnât se his face but you assumed he was smiling by the way his mask moved upward. You walked inside Larryâs hand on your waist felt much tighter now.
âyeah dude, wouldnât miss watching a horror movie with you manâ Larry said while making himself comfortable on the couch in front of the tv, snacks discarded on the coffee table, the horror you were about to be watching was sitting beside them , âScreamâ it had been released earlier this year but you had never gotten around to seeing it. Sal came over sitting beside Larry, putting himself in the middle, you sat beside him turning to look at Larry he looked a little annoyed.
âyou alright, love?â you asked, trying to make sure he was alright.
âcome hereâ he said his voice was soft but far too stern, your eyebrows perked up as you got up going to stand in front of him awkwardly, he grabbed your hands a little too hard as he pulled you into his lap. You were shocked as he wrapped his arms around you caging you in, his chin resting on your shoulder.
âhowâs your day been dudeâ Larry asked Sal, Sal seemed just as surprised as you were, his ears were red. He was probably embarrassed to be sitting right next to Larry as that happened.
âuh, uhm, alright I guessâ he said, grabbing the movie and putting it into the DVD player. âare you guys going to that party on Saturday?â
âI mean I would like to..â You looked to Larry, you wanted to go but wouldnât go if he wasnât coming.
Larry obviously got the hint as he said âYeah, itâd be cool to see everyoneâ and that was the end of the conversation. You each settled in, getting comfortable as Sal pressed play on the movie
The movie was great and you all ended up more comfortable at the end of it, despit the multiple scares you had.
âoh yeah! Sal you just got the Nintendo 64, right?â you said, you nearly completely forgot to ask, you had heard Larry mention it briefly and you wanted to see if Sal would let you come over so you and him could play together sometime.
âyeah, I did, why? You wanna play sometime?â he asked
âomg, yes please! I was gifted Mario Cart but I havenât been able to play it yetâ you pouted and Sal laughed âbut yeah Iâd love to play it together if that chill with you?â you hardly noticed Larry grip tightening around your hips as you talked.
âyeah, thatâd be awesome! Come âround whenever, youâre always welcomeâ you smiled at the words and he rubbed the back his neck; thatâs when Larry started lightly biting the sweet spot on your neck, your back arched and you had to clamp a hand over your mouth to stop any sounds. Your face was hot and you felt far too embarrassed to stay in the room.
âi-I-I Iâm just gonna quickly go to the bath-bathroomâ your words struggled to come out smoothly due to the embarrassment. You quickly rushed to the bathroom; hands braced against the bathroom sink as you tried to calm down. Once your face was no longer burning and your heart and breathing were steady once more you stood up as straight as you could and walked out hearing the hushed whispers of Sal and Larry, they were fighting. You didnât wanna intrude but it was hard not to let curiosity beat you.
âdude, I donât like her what the fuck, I would never do thatâ it was Sal
âwhy were you eye-fucking her since we walked through the door thenâ Larry was angrier than you had heard him before.
âI wasnât, dude, I donât know whatâs going on but you canât just embarrass a girl like that, she looked ready to cry beforeâ
âso you do like her?â
âwhat! NO!â they werenât whispering and you decided to make them stop by heading back to te bathroom and yelling back to them.
âyou guys aright out there?â Larry was the one who answered
âyeah babe but I think we should get going now, I forgot that my mum asked me to help out with putting up a shelfâ
âokay thenâ you walked back out to them, smiling, they couldnât know that you had heard them. Sal was refusing to even look at you, you held onto Larryâs arm âthanks so much, for inviting us we had a lot of fun, right babe?â you tugged softly on Larryâs arm.
âyeah, sureâ he rubbed his neck with his free hand and looked anywhere but at Sal.
âit was no problem, thanks for comingâ you felt bad for leaving with Larry while they were on such bad terms but there wasnât much else you could do. The entire walk back to the apartments Larry was pouty, stealing kisses when he could. As you got back he went to Lisa reluctantly following through with his lie to leave Salâs. it was only an hour before he was back with you in his room listening to Sanity falls and acting like nothing was wrong.
âŠ
You could hear the music and see the flashing lights of the party from a few houses away, you and Larry walked hand in hand, He squeezed three times âi.love.youâ you smiled squeezing back. It was a comfortable silence around you two, you had already talked about your daysâ and what you planned to do tomorrow and your plans to move in together once youâd saved up enough money. It was nice, knowing you werenât going to have to face all the new adult stuff you had to do now you were 20 and fully out of school, alone. As the party came into view you could see most people were already wasted, red cups littered across the lawn along with steamers and someoneâs pants. You laughed at the sight; it was a bigger party than you had originally expected but you had no doubt you would at least know most the people there considering how small Nockfell was.
The music was some upbeat pop band and the house was smelt like beer and sweaty bodies. People were dancing and you and Larry had to force yourself through the crowd, it took a while but you eventually found the gang, even ash was there. You hugged each of them, complimented ash on her new hair and you all fell into conversation but the tension between Sal and Larry was obvious. Larry stopped you from drinking saying that he just wants you to be sober and that the alcohol isnât good for you even as he made his way through his own drinks and after two hours the gang -minus Todd and Neil who had disappeared into a random bedroom earlier- and some kids you went to school with were in a game of spin the bottle. Larry and Sal sat opposite you and ash was a couple people away so far neither you, Larry or Sal had had to kiss anyone and it was soon Sals turn, he leaned forward spinning the bottle, it spun around quickly but a few seconds later it slowed. Landing on you.
The tension in the air was thick and you expected Sal to spin again, but he looked between you and Larry, once and then again; and just like that he was in front of you a hand to your cheek, he lifted his mask enough for his lips to show; you could feel him shaking through the hand on your cheek, your heart was hammering and you were to shocked to do anything but sit and desperately hope he was joking, but his lips brushed yours and then he pressed a soft kiss to you lips.
Larry had stood up, pushing Sal out of the way and grabbing your wrist tightly enough to bruise, he dragged you through the crowd of people and kicked people out of the bathroom before pushing you in and locking the door behind himself.
âLarry? Iâm so sorry I was too shocked to move and i-âyou were against the wall, Larryâs hands beside your head. He kissed you. It was burning, different to before, he was burning, and you would burn with him. His tongue was in your mouth exploring ever crevice of you, his knee rubbing between your legs
âcan i?â despite the alcohol and anger, he cared enough to ask. You nodded
Pushed against the bathroom wall, the heat between your legs growing hotter as Larry licked a line up your neck stopping just before your ear where he softly bit your earlobe, you bucked your hips up to him trying to get any friction against your core. He chuckled in your ear his voice deep and arousing, it sent shivers down your spine as he started sucking and biting at your neck while he trailed one hand down your chest to the waist of your pants. You wrapped your arms around his neck, a hand through his hair softly tugging at strands, he groaned as he trailed his hand down further; you could feel his fingers through the fabric of your pants and desperately tried to get him to touch you more.
âsuch a needy little thingâŠâ he whispered into your ear before removing your pants, he lifted your leg, holding it just under the underside of your knee. âupâ. You happily obliged jumping up, wrapping your legs around his waist as he caught your other leg pressing you harder against the wall to keep you up.
You could feel his length through his jeans and you grinded against it moaning softly as you did. âfuckâ his hand slid upward to your inner thigh just below where you need him.
âtell me how much you need meâ he growled, and the dark look in his eyes wasnât like any expression youâd seen him make before. It was hot. So hot. Your arousal was dripping between your legs, you needed him like he was some form of drug and you loved it.
âI need youâ you panted âso bad, Larry, please fuck meâ you rolled your hips against his to emphasize and just like that something snapped in Larry. Within a couple movement his pants and boxers were at his ankles and his erection ready to enter your dripping sex, pre-cum leaked through the slit and tip was a gorgeous red. You stoked it lightly and Larryâs head tipped back, a moan echoing through the bathroom. His grip on your hips tightened and he positioned himself at your entrance, he rested his head on your shoulder.
âmine, mine, mine, mine, mineâ with each word he started thrusting into you, your head hit the wall and you couldnât hold back the chorus of moans that escaped you, his name fell off your lips like a prayer and he only went harder as you got louder.
His finger circled your clit, his mouth leaving hickeys across your chest. Your tears stained your cheeks at the overstimulation he was giving you. âevery time I see you talk to someone, I wanna kill them. Youâre mine, mine!â he hit your g-spot with each word, your fingers clawed down his back leaving marks. The knot that had developed in your abdomen was ready to burst and as your eyes rolled back you were no longer capable of words, only senseless babbles.
âI love you, Iâd die without youâ he moaned, as you came around his dick; And seconds later he was shooting his load inside you. He didnât slow down though, and as you grasped onto his shoulders panting from your orgasm you realized he would continue fucking you until you couldnât move.
âLarryâ you pressed your forehead to his, your lips brushing softly despite how hard he was slamming himself into you âI love you, Iâm not leavingâ a tear slipped from his eye landing on your chest. You knew why he was acting this way, he was scared youâd disappear, leave, like his dad and he would try and do everything in his power to make sure that you didnât.

My Little Ember - Enji Todoroki
Platonic!Yandere!Enji Todoroki
A/N: Okay, Iâm late. I missed a lot of due dates. This isnât even beta read. Iâm sorry. I am so sorry. But here it is anyway!
This is Yandere content, and as such, one should be cautious of viewing this if you have certain triggers.
âWake up, my little ember~ Did you have a good rest?â
You blink your eyes open and look around. You are in âyourâ bedroom, a cruelly comforting place. A room in Enjiâs giant mansion, covered in pastels and various kid-friendly entertainment. The nicest cage money could buy.Â
Enjiâs hand rests on your shoulder. A warm presence on this otherwise cold day. Your eyes flicker up at the cyan ones looking compassionately down.
âUhh, yeah, it was fine, EnjiâŠâ
Enji sighs and rubs his hand against your shoulder.Â
âI told you, kid, call me dad.â
 âBut-â
Enji raises a warm finger to your lips.
âCome now, enough of that. Iâve let you sleep in long enough; it is already 7:30 am. I have been cooking breakfast in the kitchen for you.â
 You look away dejectedly.
 âIâm not hungry.âÂ
âHush, you need your breakfast if you want to grow big and strong like your old man!âÂ
He promptly lifts you out of bed with just one arm, shoving you over his shoulder. You donât fight back, instead just lying there, looking at the upside-down room.Â
Humming a tune, he carries you out of your bedroom, and into the empty mansion that you both shareâpristine white walls and furniture, broken up with the odd child-proofed edge or photo-frame.Â
He abducted you four months ago and ever since seemed to be treating you as his child. Everyone who saw Endeavor knew he probably didnât have a stellar home life, but this was absurd.Â
He walks down the stairs to the first floor, walking through a massive living room.
 âEnj-uhhh, dad?â
Enji hummed with delight as he kept walking, you swaying up and down on his shoulder, getting slightly dizzy.
 âYes, my little ember?â
âDo you think I-uhh, we, could go outside today?â
Enji stops in his tracks, his grip on you tightening and warming. Not noticeably, but enough.Â
â...Ember, I am not too sure if that is a wise decision.â
Of course. It hadnât worked the other 50 times you asked, why would it work now?! Why was it so hard for you to find ANY time away his watchful eye.
 âWhat a fucking surpriseâŠâ
 âHey!â
He pulls your now shaking form off his shoulder. One hand around your waist, one around your head as he brings you in front of him, hovering off the floor. His eyes are thin, a scowl on his face. You feel his hot breath coming from his nostrils. You have never been more scared in your life of this man.
âDo not use that foul language, Y/N Todoroki. I will not tolerate it. Do not make me discipline you.â
âI-uhhh, sorryâŠâ you stammer out, avoiding his gaze.Â
His hand moves your head and forces your eyes to meet his disappointed ones.
âI have raised you better than that, havenât I? Apologise properly.â
âUhhh,,,Sorry, Father, that I, behaved inappropriatelyâŠâ you say, staring into eyes that only villains are privy to.
His face warms and he pulls you in for a hug.Â
 âApology accepted!â
He places you down on the floor, but keeps your hand in a vice-like grip.
âNow! We canât leave those pancakes waiting, can we?â
Enji pulls you along, almost causing you to fall over a few times to keep up with his faster gait. He walks into the kitchen, and the smell of pancakes fill the air. He places you down on a seat, grabbing a plate and putting some pancakes on it, before serving it to you. You detectedly pick at the pancakes, staring out the window. Itâs an overcast and cloudy day, might rain later. Enji seemingly notices this.Â
âFeeling melancholy, oh sorry, I meant, are you feeling sad??â He pries, softly bumping you with his elbow to get you to pay attention to him.
âYou kidna-â You got to interject, but get interrupted.Â
âI have something that might cheer you up! Look at this, my little ember!â
Enji reaches over to grab the wet batter, he pours a bit into one of his cupped hands, and after putting down the container, presses his other hand over it. After a few seconds, he pulls apart his hand to reveal a potato-shaped pancake with imprints of his hands on it, perfectly cooked.Â
You fail to look impressed, to which Enji sighs.Â
âYou will find it more interesting when you have your own quirk, I bet!â
â...You realise Iâm quirkless right?â Youâve been quirkless forever, you werenât thrilled about it, but you made do, or you did, before this deranged hero kidnapped you.
âDo not worry, my sweet little cinder. You are just a late bloomer. Your powers will come in soon, I guarantee it! You are a todoroki! It is in your very nature!â
 âBut I-â
âYou might even get a fire quirk like your old man! Imagine how much I could impart to you! Are you not excited?!â
 âNo, not rea-â
âYou will go to UA of course, but that might be putting the cart before the horse, champ. We should think about primary school before that...â
Wait, what? Ignoring the fact that heâs trying to enrol you in primary school, this would mean youâd get out of the house, and presumably, to a teacher, whoâd figure out youâre not a kid, and are in fact, being held against your will.Â
âIâd love to go to school Dad!â you cry enthuasatically, desperate to get out of the house.
âHa! Youâre certainly eager!â He saddles up beside you and pulls you into his side, tussling your hair.Â
âAlthough...School seems a bit dangerous, looking at UA and what happened with sho- maybe instead, we could try a different approach, my little ember.â
âBut Iâd really like to meet oth-â You need to force this issue, you canât let him shut this issue down like this. This is your one chance to get outside the house.
âHmmm! How about instead, you use packet learning for general education, and well, we will cross the hero bridge when we get to it. Heh, maybe I could teach you about being a hero and intern you myself if you try to get your hero license! Would that not be fun, your old man teaching you how to be a hero?â
He presses you into his side more, face pushed against his pecs, preventing you from speaking. Itâs meant as a sort of hug, it mainly just hurts quite a bit.Â
âJust know I love you no matter what the outcome is, okay? Powers or no powers. Hero or no hero. Youâll always be my little ember!â
Despite your flails and protests, Enji carries you to the couch, sitting you down next to the TV. The sun has risen fully, becoming mid-morning.Â
âAlright, kiddo. Want to watch some cartoons? How about that backyard science one? We could try to replicate, er, repeat, the experiment later?â
âCould I-er, we, watch that detective movie? I saw an ad for it, it looked interesting?â The issue is gone now, he will only deflect any questions, youâve tried MANY times to get that to work. Might as well get SOME enjoyment out of this day.Â
âHmpfh, you saw an advertisment for that movie? I need to monitor what you watch more often, that is much too dark for a young mind like you! Let me put on that science showâŠâÂ
Enji goes to grab the remote, but you slap it out of his hand.
âStop this! Stop pretending that Iâm your child! Stop trying to coddle me!â
Enji goes to touch your shoulder, concern plastered over his face, hiding something sinister.Â
âDonât fucking touch me you creep! Everyone knows you fucked up your first chance at a good family life, and this isnât a fucking do over, you abusive, coddling, tormentor!âÂ
 Enji sighs.
âAnd I was having such a nice morning too.âÂ
Enjiâs face grows dark as he stands up from the couch, before turning around and bending down to your level. Fast hands pinning your shoulders to your side, keeping you in place as an intimidating and vilanous look takes over his face.Â
âI will give you 5 seconds to apologise, and just maybe, I, your FATHER, can find it in my heart to lessen the SEVERE punishment you are getting, kid.â
 â1â
âIâm sorry! Please! Iâm sorry! I didnât mean it!âÂ
Enjiâs face contorts into a smug smirk as confusion takes over yours.
 â2â
 âW-What? But-Iâm sorry! Please listen to me!â
You thrash useleslly against the hands holding you in place, desperate to try and escape his gaze. Reduced to a whimpering and crying mess as you think of the âdisciplineâ your father will inflict.
 â3â
âPlease! I said Iâm sorry! What more do you want from me?!â
Youâre on the edge of hyper ventilating as Enji stares you down. His hands are warming up, grip tightening, only causing your thrashing to become even stronger. Your attempts to break free donât even budge him an inch.
â4...Do not make me count to 5...â
âPlease! Enj-Father! Iâm sorry! Iâll do whatever you want! Iâll eat those pancakes! Iâll play along! Please, donât hurt me!â
Enjiâs smug smile and piercing eyes will haunt your dreams.
â...5. I thought I had raised you better than that, my little cinder. Oh well, time to-â
Lightning and thunder interrupts the countdown, an ear-splitting crack emanating from outside the sealed house. Enji jumps to cover you, as you yelp, the already anxiety inducing conversation ruining your nerves so much a lightning strike scares you. Immediately, Enjiâs menacing demeanor melted away.Â
âOh, I thought it was a villi- nevermind.â
Enji looks down at you. Your form is shaking, tears spilling out of your eyes. Looking both catatonic and extremely wound up, as you fail to comprehend your surroundings, simply mumbling to yourself about punishment and forgiveness.
âS-Sorry. Forgive. Forgive m-me.I-I-â
âDo you see, my little ember? The threat of punishment WAS the punishment.
His hands pulled you into his broad chest, shushing you and rubbing warming hands up and down your back. You keep on crying, your turbulent emotions entirely out of control, not knowing how to react. You feel like your sanity is so fragile, anything will break it. You simply focus on a spot upon the wall, and nothing else.Â
âIt is okay, ember. It is just thunder. I will protect you.â
â...not scared of thunder...â you mumble. He chooses to cocoon you further with his massive body, noticeably warming himself up to protect you from the potential cold.
âYou do not need to lie, little one. I am not expecting you to be perfect, okay?â
He pauses, mulling over his next words.Â
âI am only expecting perfection from me.â

I asked nekropsii this so now I'm gonna ask you this! if you want at least. sov characters you could be roommates with comfortably vs sov characters you couldn't even share a room with if paid
Heya!! This question is so fun so thanks for sending!
Most of the crew is pretty unanimous with our opinions, and I'm much of the same, but it's a fun hypothetical! so here we go,
WARNING: LONG AS HELL
[PLAYERS]
[ Cynical Itinerant - Cytin - Tintin ] Abso. Cool-o-rama Over Here. Would absolutely love to be a roomate with this dude! Learning how to say shit in Latin would be FUN.
[ Dynama Zarrow ] Nope. Either the religious talk would drive me stir crazy or I'd drive them stir crazy with the fact that I make several jokes About God, and various other things.
[ Tejuri Kromab ] Hell yeah! Granted our Southern-Hospitality might collide a bit, but not in anyway negative! I'd be interested in what she's writing just out of pure curiosity. I am sharing some sweet tea with her.
[ Presae Covnul ] Split. Doesn't know half of the electrical appliances I'd be using, and would probably tear them apart. But otherwise seems like a pretty chill roomie! Would make a mean soup that would cure me of all diseases.
[ Pardus Rubato ] Split. Would probably blare the music she's working on at 2 am. While the music in itself is impressive, but I'd be tormented with unwarranted AMV's every time I take my headphones off. But I must also consider that, 1. is kitty 2. PARKOUR.
[ Retris Morage ] Wouldn't Mind! Having a decent place wouldn't be out of the question, and a pretty nice guy once you befriend him! Probably would pester him with too many questions though given his knowledge.
[ Ajax Barrett ] I don't see why not! Watching shitty or good movies sounds like an absolute TIME with him, plus I'd like to take him to a rage room and absolutely Wail on a TV.
[ Emeric Sargas ] Split. We'd need an entirely separate ventilated room so I don't get attacked by fumes that could kill me, but otherwise would be a fun roomie! I think they'd be interesting to talk to, even if my brain would get melted a little. But I'm pretty sure it's already halfway there on it's own.
[ Kausat Stolar ] ...Split, but leaning on yes. Got the same interest of Weird Houses. Although he takes it a bit more... Seriously then I do. Would absolutely not go with them on a Abandoned House exploration, but would absolutely make him Worse by showing him the game "ANATOMY".
[ Tomiei Aerras ] Eeeehhhh...... No. She's hilarious, no doubt, but Hardcore Tiktok People scare me.
[ Annomi Errata ] Absolutely not. I think I'd knock him out cold out of pure reflex if he even breathed at me wrong.
[ Pleome Alrium ] 100% Yes. Sweet guy!! Cool Hobbies!! Beach trips sounds like an absolute Blast with this guy!! What more could you want!
[NPCS]
[ Inaniloquent Commander - Inaco ] Split, leaning on no. On one hand, the garden would FLORISH. On the other, no leniency on rules would probably jack up my anxiety real bad.
[ Argebi Kromab ] Unsure... I'm sure she's wonderful, and the package deal with Khanda doesn't bother me too much, but it's a living situation where it'd drift more into "You do your thing, and I do mine". Can't really say for sure why!
[ Meseri Covnul ] No, but for my own safety & sanity. I'd like to keep my skeleton, thank you.
[ Khanda Morage ] Split. He'd tell me something Entirely Untrue, and the worst part is that I might believe him if I have no knowledge of the subject in the first place. Would be embarrassing in the long run. But, is hilarious, and probably plays a mean DND game.
[ Arsine Sargas ] Running so so far away. She'd get a wiff of my brainworms and use them to her advantage. No thanks. + The apartment would smell like wet cigarettes' 24/7.
[ Ochosi Stolar ] Split. High energy would probably get me pretty exhausted after a while, but in moderation would be pretty cool! Would give me near heart attacks though with the kinda stunts he's doing.
[ Dulvyx Errata ] Nope. Absolutely not. A thousand times no. Self Proclaimed "Empaths", scare me.
[ Atrisa Alrium ] HELL yes. Seems so sweet. And our grocery list would include a gallon of Women Respecting Juice. I wouldn't allow myself to get dragged to a bar, but small socialization events would be healthy for me I think!

As far as the safe house idea goes, Barley even leaves Guinevere behind because of how much she stands out, opting to take a more ordinary-looking vehicle instead so they don't draw attention. Either that or he makes Ian remove the paint job so the van looks normal. For Ian, this is a really big sign of how seriously Barley is taking everything now. As the film showed, while Barley loves his van, he loves his brother more.
Ian woke up as Barley pulled into a cabin in the middle of nowhere. It was dark, probably 8 at night. He had trouble remembering where he was because of the new car, but then he realized. Barley left Guinevere because of how noticable she was. This was their first time without her since they started going on quests and it just didn't feel right, but Ian knew what this meant to Barley.
He truthfully couldn't stop thinking about Kirk's plans for him. The idea of him wanting to control Ian made the young Lightfoot's blood cold with fear.
Barley was taking it just as seriously. Ian knew that this escape was not just for his sanity, but his brother's. Barley had been tearing himself apart with guilt and it broke his heart.
Kirk is going to catch up with them eventually, but right now, both of them were safe. Ian felt the relief of not having a stranger's eyes on him. Something he never had to think about before.
"Corey said this place should be safe for awhile. Come on," Barley said. Both of them grabbed their bags and went to the cabin. It was pretty large, two floors and a few bedrooms, but Ian didn't want one of his own.
"Barley?"
"Yeah?" his older brother answered as he locked the door. He went through and made sure all the windows were locked and closed, which they had been.
"Um, can we share a room still?"
"Of course, little brother," Barley responded and then threw his arm around Ian and pulled him into a hug. Affection wasn't uncommon among the brothers, but lately, they both felt the need to be by each other, to make sure the other was safe.
Ian remembered how Kirk said he would hurt Barley and break him before he took Ian away, and the thought just made Ian hold on tighter, like normal.
"It's okay, we're going to be safe here. Corey already made sure there was plenty of food and Kirk doesn't know about Corey. I never told him about her," Barley said. They walked around for a bit and explored the rooms, before finding one Barley insisted was the safest option. No windows in this room, still fairly large, with a lock.
Ian hated seeing his brother tearing away with worry and stress. Even if there was a lunatic after them, Ian was determined to get his brother to at least smile. Besides, being around just Barley did sound nice. His brother was really the only one he felt totally safe around, no questions asked.
Corey was nice enough to make sure there was a TV with some movies, some board games and a Quests of Yore set for Barley.
"Hey, Barley," he said, "do you want to watch a movie, or make a quick campaign?"
"You want to play Quests of Yore?" Barley said, with a raised eyebrow.
"I want to spend time with my favorite person without worrying about anything," Ian responded and Barley paused for a moment and then nodded.
"I need some time to think of a campaign, but let me get some popcorn, you pick out the movie, and we'll have a movie night," Barley said and Ian smiled widely. His brother immediately returned it. Barley went into the kitchen and Ian picked up a random movie. He never heard of any of these before, but maybe Barley did.
His brother came back a few minutes later with popcorn. He looked around the room and Ian realized this was one of the first times Barley left him alone, but he still seemed on edge.
The two piled up on the couch with blankets and pillows and started the movie night. Barley was dozing off and on, but he would still look over and make sure Ian was there. Ian looked around. He was in the middle of nowhere, but Barley was right there. His staff was near and so was Barley's sword, but there was peace.
Barley pulled Ian into a hug halfway through the movie. Ian always felt safe when his brother was around and truthfully, the hugs helped. He felt like a child again with the belief that nothing could harm him with Barley right there.
"Quests of Yore tomorrow morning when I have more than three brain cells thinking?" Barley offered and Ian nodded. He kept close to Barley and they watched the movie, Barley made a couple of jokes that helped and Ian curled beside his brother and closed his eyes.
He held on to Barley tightly, not because he feared Barley would go anywhere, but because he missed hugging him and being around his brother. Both of them had gotten so busy and then their words turned upside down.
"Barley?"
"Yeah, bud?"
"You know, I feel like I don't thank you enough for everything you've done for me. You're always there, no matter what happens. You're always by my side and you're the greatest magic mentor ever. I just... I don't thank you enough for it."
"It's okay, you don't need to," Barley responded and Ian felt him running his hand in his curly hair. He's done that as long as Ian could remember. It was the best way to get him to fall asleep. "I'd do it any day of the week. You're the best little brother I could ever ask for."
Ian didn't remember falling asleep, but he did remember someone carrying him. He opened his eyes, just barely as Barley laid him on his bed and then pulled the covers over him, before placing the staff by his bedside and then his sword over on his own, then going to bed himself.
Ian then had one of the worst dreams of his life.
His brother was alone in a dark room. Nothing was around them and while nothing seemed to be in their way of each other, Barley looked right passed him.
"Barley?" he called, but his brother didn't answer. He walked towards the older one, and saw his tear-stained cheeks. "Barley?"
"I failed," Barley said, but still didn't make eye contact. "I failed him."
"Barley, what are you talking about?"
He followed him, trying to see where he went. But there was still nothing around them and eventually Barley just collapsed to the ground and sobbed.
"I'm so sorry, Ian," he apologized over and over again. Ian desperately tried to get his brother's attention, to show him that he was there, but Barley didn't respond.
"No, no!" Barley woke up to Ian crying and everything in him became alert as he reached for his sword, but found Ian fighting himself in his sleep. He was scratching at his arms and making them almost bleed and the older brother had to physically grab both of his wrists to make him stop.
"Ian, Ian, you're dreaming, it's okay. It's just a nightmare," Barley said and Ian's eyes darted open and he looked at his brother and then hugged him tightly. Ian clung to him and Barley returned the hug gently.
"Barley, you know I love you, right?" he asked, refusing to let go. Barley put a hand in his hair and tried to calm his brother's nerves.
"What? Of course I do, bud."
"You're my best friend, Barley. And the strongest person I know and-."
"Bud, what's going on?"
"I hate seeing you so hurt," Ian said. "And I had a nightmare and you were... you were so done with everything and I never want to see you like that. I love you and we're going to get through this and you're the best big brother I could ever ask for."
"Ian."
"And you're always there for me and you're the person I can count on and-."
"Ian, I know. I know, bud," Barley said. "Take a deep breath."
Ian did.
"Good, keep doing that," Barley instructed gently and his brother listened. "You're right, we are going to get through this. And I'm so thankful to have you as my little brother, but you don't have to worry about me right now. I'm okay. You're right here, you're safe and we're going to figure out a plan. But I'm okay because I have you right here and no matter what, I'm not going to give up on you. I love you, too. So, so much, little brother."
Barley continued to rock Ian back and forth until his brother fell asleep in his arms.
A smile crept up on his lips as he hung on to the younger one. His little brother. The person he loved most in the world. Right here. He could feel Ian's heartbeat. He was safe.
"I love you so much," he whispered as the sleep took over him, too and he didn't remember exactly when, but when he woke up, Ian was still there, and looked at peace.

Dating a Scientist
Pairing: Sebastian Stan x Female Reader
Warning: Fluff.
About: Sebastian is out doing interviews to promote The Falcon and The Winter Soldier TV Series when the interviewer brought up his girlfriend who is a biochemist. He started talking about what itâs really like dating a scientist and apparently, itâs fun.
Gif not mine :)
Interviews - they never fail to make Sebastian nervous no matter how many times he had done it in his life. There were interviews where they would give Sebastian preview of their questions so he would somehow be prepared. And if there are questions that are too personal to answer, then they can easily remove it from the list. Unfortunately, this one is not one of those.Â
Sebastian knew he has to promote his TV Series and thatâs the main goal, but he doesnât know what other questions they would ask him. It made him feel anxious and he can literally feel the tingles on his body...itâs not the good tingles that made him excited.Â
Itâs live. The show is live. He couldnât help but mutter a faint âoh Godâ under his breath when one of the producers started doing a countdown. Youâre live Sebastian, better watch your words. He talked to himself.Â
He does it all the time. The talking-to-yourself thing until you feel better. Oh how much he wished heâs in New York with his girlfriend. She always have that effect where she would touch Sebastianâs hand and everything would be alright. Everything feels right when heâs with her.
âEverybody let us all welcome, Sebastian Stan!â
They talked about the process of filming and how Marvel approached him about the spin-off series of the franchise. The flow of the interview is going well, the interviewer made sure to make Sebastian feel comfortable and his questions were actually great ones; no questions about his diet and how he works out, which makes him genuinely happy.Â
âItâs great. I love my character as Bucky Barnes and he kinda grew on me.â Sebastian talked. âIt also feels amazing being on set with Mackie again. I wouldnât tell this to him directly but yeah, he makes working fun and he makes it feel like itâs not your job...but in a good way.â He finished.
âWe got a question from twitter.â the interviewer trailed.
âOh God.â Sebastian mumbled, enough for the crowd to hear causing them laugh. He remembered when he and Mackie read thirst tweets and heâs traumatized. He swore to himself heâll stick with instagram and ditch twitter for the better of his sanity.
âItâs appropriate, I promise.â The interviewer laughed. âSo this fan asked how does it feel filming with a new Captain America. Does it feel weird with Chris Evans not being the Captain youâre used to?â
Sebastian gushed. âThat guy.â he snickered. âWell, you know. I miss him. I miss working with him, I think he has his own ways in portraying Captain America and he gives a certain aura that you can only see in Chris. But no, it doesnât feel weird at all, Mackie pulls off the character of Falcon and Captain really well. Itâs different than what people are used to but I think they will like it. Mackie does put his own twist on his character.â
The crowd clapped from his answer and so is the interviewer. âThis question is not related to your TV series but I hope thatâs fine.â Although Sebastian felt the nerves kicking in, he still nodded his head with a grin on his face. âSo, a few months ago, you posted a picture.â Sebastian looked behind him where a giant monitor was placed. It showed a picture of his girlfriend, wearing a laboratory clothing and is holding a flask. He edited it in black and white but the picture still shows the big smile she has on her face.
âI donât want to assume anything because the only caption you have here is a red heart and that could mean many things, actually. But who is she?â
âSheâs my girlfriend.â Sebastian proudly answered. âSheâs been in my instagram stories a few times and itâs mostly when sheâs wearing a lab coat and doing experiments.âÂ
âShe likes that type of things, I assume?â
âNo, uh...sheâs a scientist. Biochemist!â Sebastian exclaimed. He feels nice talking about her and itâs not the first time he actually did talk about her. He mentioned her name a few times back during the promotion for Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. It feels refreshing that the interviewer didnât know anything about his relationship, he always liked bragging about how heâs dating a scientist over and over again.
âWow! Thatâs amazing. I canât believe Sebastian Stan is dating a scientist.â
âYeah. Two years and counting and I still canât believe it myself.â The sound of loud chuckles echoed in the room.Â
âHow does it feel and what is it like dating a scientist?â The interviewer asked him. Sebastian couldnât help the the grin on his face. Even the people on the crowd seems to be really interested on the topic.
âYou know what, many people actually thought that itâs all science and stuff. With Y/N being a biochemist, my friends...even my family thought sheâs like a clean freak and would always talk about science and chemistry and all that jazz. But Iâd say itâs normal. Itâs just like dating anyone, really.â Sebastian was waving his hands in the air in gestures and it made all the people smile. They could tell heâs so in love with his girlfriend, Y/N, as he mentioned.Â
âI think whatâs special is that when I ask her science stuff, I learn something new.â Sebastian put his hand on the corner of his lips, âYou know, Itâs not what I studied in college.â and laughs to his dead joke.
âI think one time I asked her whatâs the difference between bacteria and virus and it almost felt like I have lived in a different world after that. It feels like my brain gained 10 percent IQ or something.â
âWow. So itâs not science all the time?â
âNo. No, itâs not. We really wouldnât talk about science until I ask her stuff. Although most of the time theyâre dumb questions but uh... she still answers them anyway. If itâs too dumb then, sheâll just glare at me or throw something. Sometimes she would punch me too but yeah.â Sebastian ranted.
The interviewer thanked him and they shook hands together. âSebastian Stan everybody!â
This was requested (Interview-ish kind of imagine) but I decided to put a twist on it. And I really liked it so far. Hope you all too x

BASEBALL AND SPIDER MONKEYS | MILO & ORIONÂ PART 1
PLACE: Orionâs house TIMING: 11:12 PM SUMMARY: Orion hosts a vampire movie night to help Milo feel better about the changes in his life WRITING PARTNER: @3starsquinnâ CONTENT WARNINGS: Some brief NSFW humour
Milo wasnât sure what he had been expecting. Rio wasnât the type to lie, and had been pretty clear about living in a large property alone. Maybe he was developing trust issues, because standing in the kitchen now, staring out at the expanse of space, he felt guilty for ever doubting his friend. It was a large property, a nice one too. He was glad he had somewhere decent to stay. If anybody deserved that, it was Orion. The fact that he had put himself on the line, had created such a permanent rift between himself and Dani, for the sake of keeping him safe⊠it was something he still considered when he allowed his mind to wander. He wasnât sure he was ever going to be able to repay him, though showing up for movie nights felt like a pretty good place to start. He had a sneaking suspicion Orion had organised this particular watch party in an attempt to make him feel more grounded, to make him feel more at ease with his new life⊠or death. But he was really hoping his company had something to offer Rio in return. It must get lonely sometimes, such a big house with nobody in it.Â
Turning his attention back to the popcorn as it began to pop in the microwave, he leaned heavily against the kitchen counter. The smell was already overwhelming, but he had been the one to insist. It wasnât a movie night without popcorn, and something about the mundane routine was incredibly comforting. âSo,â he said, turning briefly to Rio who was sitting beside him on the kitchen counter. âWhat did you say was on the list?â Still watching the timer as it continued to count down the seconds, he used his fingers to tick off the list of franchises he had been given by his friend. âTwilight, of course. But you said The Vampire Diaries, right? Specifically episode one? Did you make this list? Or did you steal it from a teenage girlâs tumblr account? Be honest with me.âÂ
Sitting on the counter, Orion listened to the microwaveâs buzzing as the kernels slowly started to pop. For once, the sound of the microwave and the distant sound of the pool filter wasnât the only thing to keep Rio busy. He wasnât sure anybody had been in the house to hang out with him since Skylar had left. It was such a relief to have somebody occupying space in the kitchen with him again. Even if this was only temporary, it was worth it. For just today at least, he wouldnât feel so alone in this house. âStop looking like that.â Rio warned, catching his eyes as they floated around the place, âI know what youâre thinking. Iâm not a real housewife or whatever those rich people shows are. All of this was purely by chance. And itâs not mine. Iâm just staying here for now.â Rio smiled, but he truly didnât want Milo thinking the wrong thing. He didnât know why he hated the idea of people thinking this was actually his house, but something about it felt wrong. Like he was living a facade. It was partially true, but not because of this house.
âNot necessarily in that order.â Orion checked his phone for the list he had compiled. Most of the media he had never consumed himself. His parents had never been fond of their children watching such inaccurate depictions of supernatural creatures. They didnât want Athena and Rio to get the wrong idea of what they were weak to, but more than anything else they didnât want them romanticizing the idea of what they considered monsters. Clearly, something had gone wrong along the way with Rio. âI did my research from multiple sources.â Rio countered, not necessarily disclosing where those sources came from. âI never got to watch this stuff growing up, so Iâm going in just as blind as you. But I have seen some scenes from Twilight. Personally, I think it could have been worse.âÂ
Milo laughed, unable to help himself. âIâm not looking like anything.â He insisted, holding up his hands in surrender. âI am, however, wondering who your sugar daddy is and how I can get in on the action.â His eyes were shining with mischief as he teased Orion. He knew his friend wouldnât mind, and sometimes he just made it so easy. âOh, because the order is important?â He asked, sarcasm dripping from his tone. âTrash is trash, Rio. Sometimes you just gotta sit back and enjoy it.â Pulling open the door to the microwave as the alarm began to sound, he shook the bag of popcorn before emptying it into the bowl he had ready. His fingertips burned with the heat. It was strange no longer needing to worry about that. âMultiple sources being tumblr?â He raised his eyebrows, chewing absentmindedly on a piece of popcorn. The taste was pretty close to how he remembered it, only dull, and one note. Wrinkling his nose, he took another piece for the sake of it. Â
âWait, you never got to watch vampire movies?â He had wrongly assumed Rioâs childhood largely consisted of vampire movies, and scary supernatural YA. It made sense considering what he was, what his parents were hoping he would grow up to become. Realising that may not be true was a reminder of just how much he didnât know, just how much they still had to talk about when Orion was ready. If Orion was ready. âWouldnât that be like⊠homework for you?â He was genuinely curious to know. He hadnât been allowed to watch much TV because his own parents had made it very clear they wanted him to study in his free time. But surely watching shows about the supernatural, learning about the supernatural, was studying for a hunter. âI guess weâre in it together then. Maybe we should start with Twilight after that glowing review.â Â
âI know youâre joking and that you donât actually think I have a sugar⊠dad.â Orion scrunched his nose at the thought of saying the word. He didnât have the emotional capacity to have a relationship like that. âIt was a very specific and weird order of events that led to me being here. Including but not limited to my parents sucking, invading a girlâs privacy, getting attacked by a man eating watermelon and eventually the only person Iâve ever dated and I breaking up.â He was shortening events obviously, but this provided a very small glimpse of the life that Rio never disclosed to Milo at the comic book shop. They had never talked much about personal lives there, avoiding it altogether to chat about comic books instead. âMy sources prefer to remain undisclosed.â He crossed his arms and pouted, abandoning Milo in the kitchen with the popcorn to head to the living room.Â
âItâs not really considered homework when itâs not accurate.â Rio spoke normally, but figured Milo would be able to hear him from where he was in the kitchen. Rio started setting up the tv to get their first pick of the night ready. âNot to say all of them are inaccurate, they all get a little bit right. But they thought it would do more harm than good.â Rio still found time to watch a few when he could. Whether it was through the movie theater or at the Scribrary when he not so formally moved in there. âBesides, vampires were never my families focus anyways.â He nodded in agreement with Milo on the movie pick and found the movie, starting it up before pausing, âReady when you are.âÂ
âBut am I joking though?â Milo teased, laughing at the term Orion chose to use. âYou can say daddy, you know. It isnât going to kill you.â He laughed again, surprising himself with how easily the sound escaped him. Hugging the bowl of popcorn to his chest, he couldnât remember the last time he had felt so at ease, couldnât remember the last time he had felt so warm. âWas the specific order of events signing up to a sugar daddy website? Going on a date? And then securing a sugar daddy?â Falling silent when Rio began to elaborate, he was reminded not for the first time of just how strange his life had been. Nobody who hadnât grown up with the supernatural could ever drop a carnivorous watermelon into the conversation as though it was on the same level as a break up. âHuh, no kidding about the complicatedâŠâ He muttered, deciding not to ask any further questions. He didnât want to bring the mood down, but he also didnât want to make his friend uncomfortable. There was a time and a place for serious conversation, and the start of a trashy movie marathon didnât feel like either. Â
Chewing on another piece of popcorn, he didnât immediately follow Rio to the living room. Instead, he took the time to enjoy the moment, observing the mundane aspects of the kitchen, and appreciating them in a way he never had before. His life had been turned upside down, for a month before meeting Harsh he had spent his time between the abandoned buildings, the streets of town, and the woods. No kitchens, no bathrooms, no comfortable living space. It felt good to be back, to be grounded again. Listening to Orion as he explained why his parents had kept him away from certain shows and films, he could almost understand the logic. Not knowing whether Hunters had hearing on par with his own, he finally wandered into the living room to reply. âI guess that makes sense⊠though I can think of a few films that would probably help if they were trying to make you see these people as monsters. I mean basically every horror movie ever, letâs be real.â Raising his eyebrows at the mention of vampires not being the family's focus, he set the popcorn down on the coffee table. âOh, yeah?â He asked, dropping onto the couch, making himself comfortable without any kind hesitation. Couch surfing in the years before his death had left him more than capable of relaxing in other peopleâs houses. âDo I want to know what your familyâs focus was?â Nodding towards the screen, he let Rio know he was ready without potentially interrupting an answer to his question. There was still so much he needed to learn. Â
âI really feel like it could kill me. For my own sanity Iâll just avoid saying it altogether.â Milo was saying the word daddy way too many times for Orionâs sanity. Was this what Rio had set himself up for when he stayed in Skylarâs house? Sugar daddy accusations? The idea might be a bit less shocking if normal, no strings attached sex didnât terrify Rio to his core. He couldnât even sleep with his ex, who he adored. He couldnât say he was surprised when Milo didnât ask for any elaboration. Life here was complicated. They wouldnât actually get to watch anything if they waited around for Rio to tell his life story.Â
âThey had plenty of stories all on their own.â Rio remembered his parents' stories vividly. They spared no detail of the gore they had witnessed. They liked to talk about the death and destruction werewolves or fae would leave behind. Though they never spent as much time talking about what they would do to it in turn. Ironically, the ending always included some kind of heroic intervention. Their parents or their grandparents swooping in at the perfect time and serving justice. His sister used to fall for those stories every single time. Rio used to be afraid of those stories. It wasnât until he got older that he realized exactly what he should have been afraid of. Rio pressed play on the movie and let it get started, but continued talking with Milo. âDepends on how much about the supernatural you want to know. Both of my parents came from different families of hunters. So Athena and I got to focus on two things growing up. Werewolves and Fae. But my⊠abilities were always focused towards werewolves.â Â
Milo made a big deal about pouting in disappointment. âIs that because youâre only allowed to say it in Daddyâs company?â He asked, before raising his arms in surrender. âOkay, okay- Iâll stop now, I swear- I couldnât resist.â His smile fading as the conversation became serious once again, he leaned back against the cushions behind him, listening intently to what Orion had to say. His own parents had been strict, and rigid. Growing up, their expectations of him had been unreasonably high, and in his opinion, put him under an unnecessary amount of stress. But they had been loving, and caring, and they had never resorted to scare tactics. He couldnât imagine the trauma Rio might be carrying from being intentionally scared by the people who were supposed to protect him. Had they really told him stories equal to the horror movies he used to binge watch? Surely it had to be worse if they were based on the truth? On experiences they had been through? Â
Laughing quietly, he reached forward again to pick up the popcorn bowl, somehow feeling more comfortable when he was holding it. The smell reminded him of watching movies with his parents, as did the action of occasionally eating some, even if the taste wasnât quite there anymore. âI mean, it isnât as though I can just ignore itâŠâ He pointed out. He could bury his head in the sand, but there were too many things out there he had a feeling he should know about. Supernatural life had to be easier when you understood the full extent of the world you were living in. He wanted that to be true, at least. âHuh⊠so werewolves really do exist.â He muttered, more to himself than to Rio. It was something he had suspected for a while, but his friend was now the first person to confirm the fact. âFae?â He echoed, realising he wasnât familiar with the term. Pausing for a moment, recognising the way Orion hesitated, he chewed thoughtfully on a piece of popcorn, offering the bowl to him as though it might remind him he was in a safe environment. âSo, forgetting the- you know, the bad stuff, what can you do?â He asked curiously. âYouâre different, right? You told Dani you barely counted as human so⊠are we talking Spider-Man backflips? Or is it something else? Was one of your ancestors bitten by a radioactive werewolf?â He wanted to give Orion the chance to talk in a playful way, in a way that almost trivialised the darker aspects of his life. Rio had begun to make vampire jokes, and the relaxed environment they created helped to lift some of the weight from his shoulders. Maybe, just maybe, he could return the sentiment.Â
Orion was mostly happy to ignore the beginning scenes of the movie in favor of talking with Milo. Even if the topic was his least favorite to discuss. For some reason, things with Milo just seemed easier. He could casually talk about topics he would usually avoid unless absolutely necessary. âSorry to ruin your fun. Iâm sure you wanted to find out about werewolves naturally.â Rio laughed, gesturing for the bowl of popcorn and then opening his mouth to see if Milo would try to throw it to him. âFae are a lot more complicated. Thatâs a supernatural lesson for another night. But they have their own sect of hunters.â He didnât need to overwhelm Milo with all of that knowledge. There were too many fae to describe in a single setting anyways. Not that Rio knew all of them as it was. Â
Rio couldnât but laugh at the radioactive werewolf comment. The comic humor didnât escape him, but it was the irony of the theory that made it even better âOh god I wish. If hunters found out they were actually descended from werewolves I think their heads would spin.â Rio might actually go back to the Silver Bullet if he got to see that. âYeah. I guess. I have this sort of⊠sixth sense I guess. If a werewolf is around I can feel it.â The gift that kept on giving. He had never figured out if there was an off switch to it. He mostly just dealt with it until he went numb to the tingling sensation. âI have faster reflexes. Iâm kinda strong. I heal a bit faster than normal humans. Oh and I can see in the dark.â Rio tried shrugging them off. He never liked his abilities. No matter how great they might be objectively. âI could probably do a spider-man backflip if I trained. Any more questions?âÂ
âOh, no. Iâve already found out way too much without anyone to guide me through it. Iâm done with finding things out on my own.â Milo assured his friend. In reality, it had been an incredibly difficult, and jarring process, but sitting here with Orion now made it more than easy to shrug off. Raising his eyebrows when he realised what he was being asked to do with the popcorn, he laughed, shifting on the sofa to give himself a better angle before aiming carefully. He so nearly missed, but with a sharp tilt of his head Rio caught the popcorn on his tongue, and he felt a ridiculous sense of accomplishment that definitely wasnât warranted. Nodding in acceptance of Fae being too broad of a subject to cover without ruining the evening, he shelved his curiosity, ready for another night, another conversation. Offering Orion a grin when he laughed, he was genuinely proud of himself for being able to draw it out of him. He knew him well enough to understand this subject wasnât one he was overly comfortable with. And he was not only talking about it now, but willing to joke about it. He enjoyed that. Â
âThe ultimate plot twist, right?â He agreed, listening to the description of a sixth sense, wondering if it felt anything like being able to sense the blood pumping through a personâs veins. There were some moments it was all he could think about, hearing their heartbeat, feeling the heat of their skin, the pulse in their neck⊠he swallowed, pushing away the thought before he could make himself thirsty. That wasnât going to be productive. And it certainly wouldnât do anything to help his case in proving to Orion he was the same person he had always been. âSo kind of like Spider-Man?â He confirmed. âI was almost right.â At the mention of any more questions, he sat up straight, attempting to look as serious as he could. âOnly two. Potentially the two most important questions you are ever going to be asked. Number one; are you Team Edward, or Team Jacob?â He waited for his words to register before continuing, gesturing to the screen where the Cullenâs were entering the school cafeteria. They were walking in slow motion, their skin white, and pale against the filmâs dramatic colour grading, and their faces were striking, intense, so obviously intended to be sexy. âNumber two;â he added, maintaining his mock sincerity. âDo I look like that now? Thereâs only one right answer to this question, okay? Donât hurt my feelings.â Â
Orion hadnât exactly spoken about his history with the Scribrary. Or rather, two separate scribe buildings that he had access to now. The drama with Dani and the discovery of the hunter heritage all felt so fresh that RIo didnât feel the need to pile on top of that with the Scribe history. But Milo might have lucked out in friendship when it came to finding someone with supernatural knowledge. Milo accommodated Rioâs request and tossed a piece of popcorn that Rio just barely managed to catch. The surprise took over, and he shot his arms up in the air in a triumphant cheer, maybe an overreaction but not one he was going to regret. Â
âIâm not that lucky. My family was convinced that the powers come directly from God. So take that as you will.â Rio was glad Milo was getting such a kick out of this. It was surprisingly easy to talk about it when the conversation wasnât so⊠depressing. âBasically. Iâm not nearly as cool or pretty as Peter Parker though.â He had gone through a long Peter Parker phase when he was younger, for obvious reasons. Rio was ready for his follow up questions until Milo actually asked them. He rolled his eyes and groaned in response, but felt his posture relax slightly at the change of subject. âIâve seen enough memes to know the only right answer is Bellaâs dad. I mean like⊠look at him.â Rio pointed at the screen, even though he wasnât actually on it at the time. His point stood. âWhatâs so bad about looking like that, huh? I think youâve always sparkled to me.â Rio laughed to himself and shot an innocent smile in Miloâs direction, âYou look much more alive than they do.âÂ
There was something so endearing about the way Rio celebrated his win, that for a few seconds following Milo found himself entirely speechless, overwhelmed by the affection he felt for his friend. âMaybe you are God.â He teased, barely putting any consideration into the joke, knowing Orion would appreciate it regardless. âMaybe youâre going to get older and suddenly inherit your omnipotence. If you donât know what to do with your powers, please come to me. I have some pretty great ideas, you know. Tequila in every water fountain would be a good place to start...â Laughing at the mention of Peter Parker, he wasnât sure he had met anyone who hadnât crushed on the character at some point in their life. Sexual orientation didnât come into play in relation to Spider-Man. âHey, donât put yourself down like that. Youâre every bit as great as Peter Parker. Iâd choose you over him any fucking day.â Â
Feeling a spark of satisfaction at the reaction to his questions, his eyes were shining with mischief. He was unapologetically proud of garnering such a response. âOkay, but is Bellaâs dad hotter than Jacob, is that what youâre trying to tell me here?â If he had a heartbeat, he knew he would be blushing at the comment on sparkling. It was such a stupid thing to get flustered over, but he was rarely ever the recipient of compliments. He didnât know how to accept them. âYou knowâŠâ He shifted on the couch, readjusting the popcorn bowl. âThatâs probably a good thing because if you try pushing me into the sunlight it isnât going to end well. Let me sparkle in the dark, please and thank you.â Glancing back up at the screen, he wondered if the vampires in Twilight had reflections. Surely they must, how else would they look so flawlessly put together? âI do?â He asked curiously, pressing his fingertips to one of his cheeks as though he would be able to feel what Orion was talking about, the difference in complexion, the difference in demeanour. âI guess I donât really know what I look like anymore⊠itâs weird only seeing myself on my phone screen, it isnât like I can use any natural lighting either. The whole thing is just⊠really fucking weird.â Â
âYouâre getting way too deep for me.â Orion laughed, lowering his victory arms and pull his legs up until a fetal position instead. âIâd have to get old in the first place. Hunters donât exactly have the same life expectancy as an average human.â Sure, that was mostly due to the dangerous nature of their lives. But Rio had already decided long ago that just turning away from his hunter heritage and trying to live a normal life wasnât enough. He had to actively try to protect the supernatural. In a way, he might be cutting his life even shorter. He was siding with people that may want to kill by going against those that would protect him. He wasnât going to be getting much love from either side, in some cases. âIâll make sure to keep your suggestions in mind though. In case I ever meet them.â Not that he really believed in any of that. âNow I know youâre just being nice. Everybody would choose Peter Parker.âÂ
With a shrug, Rio tried to defend his statement, âIâve been spoiled on some parts of this series. Thereâs a lot to be left desired about Jacob. Mr. Swan seems like a nice guy. I mean heâs older than what I would be comfortable dating, but honestly Iâm just not comfortable dating.â Honesty was a virtue, or so they say. Rio spent so much of his life lying that when he finally met those he could tell the truth to it seemed to all erupt at once like a volcano. âYeah. Suddenly the night hang outs make a lot more sense.â Rio considered what Milo talked about. It was so strange, the idea that he could no longer see himself. Something that was so trivial to most people that they donât think twice about it as they pass by a mirror and check their hair. âSure. I mean, Iâm not like⊠I donât know studying your features or anything butâŠâ Not off to a great start, âYou just look like⊠you. The movie seems to over exaggerate the pale features and stuff like that. I donât think you look much different. Which is nice.â Jesus, his face felt like it was on fire. He thought he had moved past this by now?Â
âHm, I donât think anybody has ever called me âdeepâ before.â Milo admitted, doing nothing to hide how amused he was. âI kind of like it.â His smile fading rapidly at Orionâs second comment, he suddenly found himself eyeing his friend with an open, and unguarded concern. It was a strange thing to say so casually, especially when it was clearly not intended as a joke. He hadnât considered the life expectancy of Hunters until this moment, and he wasnât sure it was something he really wanted to dwell on. Orion was safe, because Orion wasnât a Hunter, right? How could you be a Hunter when you werenât actively hunting? He wasnât stupid enough to believe it was that simple, but for now, he was happy to convince himself otherwise. âPlease do.â He said, easily falling back into their banter. âI think Tequila on tap would make the world a much greater place to be.â Offering Rio a warm smile, he needed him to see how serious he was. âRio,â he said, his voice slow, and sincere. âI promise I would choose you. I mean, fuck Peter Parker. Come on...â Peter had a lot to offer, sure. But in his own mind Orion also had powers, Orion was just as interesting, if not more interesting because unlike Peter, he had actively saved his life. Or⊠unlife? He still wasnât sure how that terminology worked. Â
His smile only growing when his friend proceeded to announce just how much he really knew about the Twilight series, he couldnât bring himself to tease him for it. Not after the reminder of how grateful he was to be in his company. âHey, you know what? Neither am I.â He admitted, quite possibly for the first time out loud. You only had to look at his history, at the ridiculous patterns of repeated behaviour for his commitment issues to become apparent. Even he knew he had them, he wasnât about to deny it. His childhood had been too structured, too rigid. It had left him with a determination to be free. He still wasnât entirely sure what his definition of âfreeâ was, especially now. But he did know it didnât include dating. âHonestly, people are probably better off without having to deal with my bullshit anyway.â He absentmindedly took a handful of popcorn from the bowl, eating the pieces one by one before speaking again. âI was always more active at night anyway.â He shrugged off his new limitations. Life didnât feel all too different in that aspect. The days had always been reserved for sleeping off hangovers and comedowns, the only thing he really missed was working. And Tower Comics usually had late shifts on offer, so hopefully he wouldnât have to miss it for very long. Â
Pausing for a moment, hand halfway back to the popcorn, he realised Orion was observing him, carefully taking him in. It made him feel strangely exposed, but not uncomfortable like he might have assumed. There was something about his friend that made him feel so at ease, he couldnât explain it even if he wanted to. He could only hope the sentiment was shared between them. The relief he felt when he was assured he still looked like himself was unexpected, until the words escaped Rio he had been entirely convinced it didnât matter, he didnât care. There was something so grounding about realising his appearance hadnât changed. It was only further validation of the fact that he was still Milo, regardless of what Dani believed. Regardless of what Hunters and Slayers were taught about his kind. A half smile tugging at his lips, he didnât hide how vulnerable he felt, because he didnât want to hide how vulnerable he felt. He wanted to be honest, Rio deserved that much from him. âThank you.â He murmured, his voice barely louder than a whisper. It didnât take very long for him to push his vulnerability to the side though, because it became all too easy to make a joke as the blood rushed to Rioâs face. He believed Rio when he said he was over his crush, but he was always going to enjoy watching him blush. âYou know, blushing in front of a vampire kind of makes you look like a snack.â He grinned, hoping his play on words would be obvious, and Rio would realise he was paying him a compliment. Â
âDo you want me to repeat it again so you can hear it more?â Orion laughed, resting his chin on his knees and shifting his tone to an only partially faked form of admiration, âWow, Milo. Youâre just soooo deep. Iâve never met anyone as intellectual as you.â Rio grinned after finishing, leaning back against the arm of the chair, âHope that helped.â Despite the joking nature of the conversation, Milo seemed all too sincere when doubling down that Rio was better than Peter Parker. As absurd as that sounded, Rio couldnât help but be a bit flattered. More than that though, he felt embarrassed by the compliment. One that he didnât exactly know how to reply to. He was always terrible at accepting compliments. Instead, he switched guys. âRight. Well you should be careful who you promise stuff to. Itâs a whole fae thing, Iâll explain later. But just be mindful of words like that to people.â Rio had learned the hard way just how dangerous a promise could be in the wrong hands. âBut uh⊠thanks.âÂ
Rio didnât know how to respond to Milo. Rio wasnât good at relationships, though maybe for different reasons than Milo. He didnât know how to tell Milo that he didnât seem like a hassle at all without it sounding like Rio was trying to date him. He shrugged the question off instead, choosing instead to show minor interest in the movie again until Milo mentioned being more active at night. âYeah, I guess I sort of am too. I get the most done at night.â Less distractions to worry about, he figured.Â
Having his red face pointed out to him probably made Rio blush even harder. At the very least, it made his cheeks light on fire. âA joke about eating me? Thatâs just in poor taste.â Rio couldnât even pretend to be serious, not with his giggling and the smile that wouldnât leave his face. If compliments made him so awkward, how come he also couldnât stop grinning? âMost people think Iâm one missed meal away from snapping in half. This town thinks Iâm like a saltine cracker or something. Just waiting to be stepped on and crumble.â Was that how Rio avoided dealing with the possibility that the vampire had just called him cute? Definitely.Â
âObviously.â Milo countered quickly, tilting his chin in an attempt to look proud, and smug, as Orion elaborated on his intelligence. âThank you, thank you.â He teased. âI donât try at all, you know? It just comes to me naturally.â Quickly dissolving into laughter, he caught his friends eye, joining him in sinking back down into the cushions. âOh, it did.â He assured Rio. âI appreciate the confidence boost.â A frown creasing his brow as he listened curiously to the warning, he hadnât forgotten their unwritten agreement to put off the difficult conversations, to keep things light-hearted, and fun, and deal with the real world at another time. But he had a burning desire to know more, to understand. He felt as though he had been living in the dark, metaphorically, of course, for far too long now. Orion had become his light. âOkay, how about swearing? If I swear to choose you over Peter Parker, is that going to put me in danger?â He asked, genuinely wanting to know. âHm, you donât need to thank me, you dork. Thank Parker for being lamer than you are.â He nudged him with his shoulder, encouraging him to smile. âWho knew that was possible, huh?â Â
Dropping his head back against the cushions behind him, he turned his attention to the film as Orion insisted he was also a night owl. He kind of figured, given how they had reconnected, but it was a nice detail, one he was very happy to know. With every day that passed he could feel them trusting each other more, getting closer, and more comfortable with being who they were. What they were. He used to have that with Dani⊠not so much now. And he was so, so grateful he wasnât alone. Laughing again, even harder this time, he couldnât help himself. The situation was so ridiculous, so beyond funny that he had to laugh. If he didnât laugh he would cry, or go insane, whichever came first. âOh really?â He demanded, his eyes shining as he looked back at his friend. âYou started it with the whole pointing out my lungs donât work for shit, so⊠do you know how rude it is to tell someone theyâre dead? How do you think Edward would feel?â Humming quietly, making his amusement abundantly clear, he chewed on another piece of popcorn. âYeah, well, the jokeâs on them because Saltine Crackers taste fucking great. Hey look,â he feigned surprise, wondering if he could elicit another blush. âAnother joke about eating you.â Â
Orion had to appreciate Miloâs commitment to this Peter Parker debate. He wasnât Rioâs favorite character by any means, but he was one of the most popular characters in probably all of comics. Being compared to and even rated above him was a surprisingly good feeling. âSwearing is tricky too. Though I guess not for a statement like that.â Unless there were any real Peter Parkerâs in the world whose life came in danger soon. âItâs best to avoid any potentially binding statements like that. Just to be safe.â Rio needed to take his own advice. It was pathetic how easily he fell into Lydiaâs grasp when he had grown up with two wardens constantly warning him of the dangers of fae. âWell Iâm going to make sure my headstone reads that I was less lame than Peter Parker. Probably my biggest accomplishment in life.âÂ
It was so nice not sitting on the couch by himself like he normally did every night. Even if they were watching a movie that Rio didnât particularly care for. Things could be a lot worse. Right now with Milo things seemed pretty okay. Good even. âThatâs old news now, you canât use that against me!â It didnât matter that it was barely a week old, Rio just wanted the spotlight off of him again. âIâd like to think that he would have a sense of humor about it.â He paused, glancing at the screen and trying to think of more than once in the entire movie so far that he had actually smiled, âActually, never mind. Point taken.â Oh god. Did Milo just making another joke about eating Rio? Far past the vampire reference, this made Rio heat up even further. He dug his forehead into his raised knees and curled up into a ball so Milo couldnât get the satisfaction of seeing his face. âNo fair. Youâre doing this on purpose!â Rio yelled, the sound slightly muffled from pressing against his jeans.Â
âHm, okay.â Milo agreed, nodding as he took in what Orion was telling him. Until the real conversations, until they could sit down and talk about everything he didnât know, he was going to hold onto the snippets of information he was given. He was smart enough to understand if Rio was telling him now, on their supposed night off from the world of the supernatural, then it was important. âNo binding statements, got it. I stand by what I said though.â He added, grinning at his friend. âOnly slightly less lame, but, you know... itâs enough.â He didnât want to imagine any gravestone for Rio, the idea of mortality versus immortality was something he had strictly refused to let himself think about, but he had to admit the thought of the tagline was amusing. âYouâre not going to top that, so you may as well give up now.â He teased, catching Rioâs eye and feeling an undeniable rush of affection. He needed this, a reminder that all hope wasnât lost. There were things, and people, worth living for. Â
Laughing at the response to the previous joke being dragged back to the present, he shook his head, allowing himself to focus on the now. He got lost in his own head far too often, and he didnât want to miss a second of this night with Orion. âNope, that so isnât how it works.â He insisted. âI think youâll find I can, and I will.â Laughing again as they both turned to watch Edward on screen, the vampireâs mouth a thin, straight line, his body filled with obvious tension, he couldnât remember laughing this hard since his death. He couldnât remember feeling so normal. Who knew Twilight was going to be his saviour? Only tearing his gaze away from the screen to watch Rio hide his face, he playfully reached out to tug at his arms. âDoing what on purpose?â He asked, his innocence very obviously disingenuous. âDoing what? I donât understand, Rio. My mind is pure, and innocent, and virtuous. Iâm only trying to compliment you.â Â
âIâll take what I can get. Slightly less lame is just fine.â Orion laughed, revelling in this moment. Where all that seemed to matter was Milo, Peter Parker and the sounds of twilight distant in the background. It was a good moment. âClearly Iâve peaked in life. No reason to go on from here.â It had been so, so long since he had been able to laugh like that. It almost made him sad, thinking about how lonely he had felt lately. But he pushed aside that butterfly in his stomach. Good vibes only tonight.Â
Rio wasnât going to budge as Milo pulled at his arms, refusing to give him a win on this. A small bit of light shone through as his leg shifted and he peaked up to meet Miloâs eye, âI donât believe you.â Rio pouted, readjusting to shut his leg again. âI donât think youâre pure, innocent or virtuous.â Eventually, Rio had to end the facade and lifted his head back up. He feigned annoyance, narrowing his eyes at his guest and crossing his arms. âYou know if you had âcomplimented meâ like that like a year ago I probably would have melted to the floor right?â He used his fingers to make air quotes. They both knew that was true. Until Rio met Winston and started dating them, Milo was one of the small list of pretty guys that Rio could barely form words around. Another being Ricky and Adam. Thankfully, that had passed. Or Rio sure hoped that it had. The redness in his face seemed to be arguing against that. âDonât you have a movie to watch? Notes to take? Like about baseball and spider monkeys?â Â
âGood.â Milo teased. âI would hate for you to be disappointed.â Laughing at Orionâs comment, he gestured to where they were sitting. âI mean, youâre sitting on a couch watching Twilight with a vampire. Youâve definitely peaked.â Picking up a piece of popcorn and throwing it lazily at his friend, he rolled his eyes, splitting his attention between their conversation and the movie. âThat doesnât mean you get to tap out though, asshole, so you can quit with no reason to go on. When I say give up I mean spend your life getting high, and eating pizza. Because we both know those are two excellent motivators for staying alive.â His laughter only coming more easily to him as Rio refused to budge, he eventually let go of his arms, allowing him re-emerge from the darkness in his own time. Â
âExcuse me, I am all three of those things.â He countered, pretending to be offended by the apparent lack of faith. âBut I guess I can forgive you, Iâm a complicated person, so difficult to understand.â He was being overly dramatic for the sake of it, but wasnât that what was so great about this night? They could be young, and dumb, and make stupid jokes. They could shut away the outside world and pretend the only thing that mattered were their ridiculous attempts at humour, and the emotionless, super hot vampires on the television screen. âYeah, I know, Iâm sad I didnât realise at the time.â He grinned mischievously. âAlthough maybe that would have driven you away and then where would you have bought your comics from?â Shoving Rio gently when he told him he should be taking notes, the popcorn bowl spilled over, but he paid no attention to the scattered pieces. He would clean them up when necessary, but the whole point of right now was being free, living in the moment. âYeah? Maybe we should try out for the same team. Youâre every bit as weird as I am, you know? With your X-Men Hunter mutation bullshit. Weâre in this together now.â He did nothing to hide how much the closing statement meant to him, allowing the warmth of his words to remind him he was cared for, and protected. They both were.Â
âThatâs what you call peaking, huh?â Orion laughed sarcastically, âIâd love to say I have higher standards. Clearly thatâs not true.â And it wasnât. His two best friends now were a werewolf and a vampire. It was like something out of a dream. Or maybe one of his parentâs nightmares. The majority of his friend group was supernaturally inclined in some way. Whether that be spellcasters or one of the supernatural beings his parents tried and failed to raise him to despise. Rio plucked the piece of popcorn from the couch that Milo so rudely launched at him and popped it in his mouth. âI donât smoke though, so thatâs already one reason eliminated. I do love pizza though.â Rio glanced up at the ceiling to consider that prospect. Pizza did sound pretty appealing. Actually, pizza sounded good right now. âHmm, maybe we should order a pizza.âÂ
âNot right now, you arenât.â Rio refused to give him anything while he teased him for the crush Rio had before the two were legitimate friends. It felt like a lifetime ago admittedly, though in reality it had probably been less than a year. Rio had a habit of developing feelings like that for just about every pretty guy that spoke nice words to him. At least until Rio moved in with Ricky and Winston and Rio practically fell in love with Winston instead. Rio hadnât felt anything quite like that since Winston left town. âDonât be. I wouldnât have known how to date back then even if I had the opportunity.â He barely figured out how to date Winston, and that had been an entire saga on its own, âAnd donât smile at me like that!â Though he detested the idea of being compared to a hunter, he understood Miloâs sentiment and at least appreciated that he veiled it with comic book references, âIâm only going to take that as a compliment because you compared me to the X-Men. But absolutely not. No sports for me.âÂ
âIâm offended by the implication of you settling for my company.â Milo teased. âBut Iâll choose to let that slide because Iâm comfortable and I donât want to waste my energy on a dramatic exit.â Laughing quietly when Rio ate the popcorn he had dropped, he carefully contemplated the suggestion of pizza. It was another food he hadnât tried since becoming a vampire. If his experiences with eating and drinking were anything to go on, it would be nowhere near as enjoyable as it used to be. But wasnât that what you were supposed to do? You ate popcorn until you were genuinely hungry, and then you decided to order takeout. The familiarity of the routine was too strong for him to say no. âWant to order after Twilight?â He asked, glancing back towards the screen. They had to be reaching the middle of the film, they might even be two thirds of the way through. âHeads up, though. If you put garlic on it, then youâre going to end up on the menu.âÂ
His smile only growing as Orion continued to insist he wasnât pure, innocent, or virtuous, he finally abandoned his claims. âMaybe not.â He admitted, content to give in now that he had pushed back just a little. He had to at least remain indignant if he was going to accept defeat. Forgetting the makeshift disagreement, he settled further down into the cushions, pulling his legs up beneath him, listening to his friend explain he wouldnât have known how to date. It was hardly surprising, given what he had come to know about Orionâs quiet, and gentle nature. But if he was being honest, he hadnât either. Hell, he still didnât know how to date. They had met just under a year ago, but it was clear a lot had changed for both of them over such a short period of time. âScrew you, Iâm allowed to smile at you!â He countered, his tone petulant, but filled with affection. âAnd yeah, I knew the X-Men talk would do it, youâre very predictable, you know?âÂ
âWell Iâm offended by your attacks on me tonight. And for using my old crush against me to tease me. Both are very rude.â Orion hummed matter-of-factly, âSo we can both be offended together. But only one of us gets the dramatic exit at the end.â He didnât get many relationships like this. Teasing and comfort didnât come naturally to him. It was hard to find his groove in a conversation when he had to spend so much of it planning ahead and second guessing every single word both before and after it came out of his mouth. Normally, he spent just as much time stumbling through a sentence as he did actually speaking. It usually took a lot of time and a lot of effort and patience on the other parties side to crack through some of that anxiety. Even then, he had only really achieved that sense of ease with a few people. Ariana, Blanche, Winston and Skylar were the first that came to mind. Now Milo too. It was comforting knowing that there were at least some people in town he could be his unfiltered self around. âYou donât have to ask me twice.â Rio shook his head passionately, the idea of pizza far too good to pass up. âOh ha ha. Very funny. No garlic crust for us apparently.âÂ
A yawn escaped Rio, and he stretched before readjusting on the couch to lay on his bed across it. He kept his knees bent and his head propped on the arm so he could still look over at Milo. âBut I like you anywaysâ Rio reassured the vampire and gave him a thumbs up from his new position on the couch. âYouâre allowed to smile at me. Just not like that.â Rio was still joking, but it had definitely been different than the other grins the two had exchanged. Rio didnât have the energy to try to discern why it felt so different. Besides, he didnât want to ruin the mood. He kept shifting his view between the movie and Milo. âBeing predictable is exactly the vibe Iâm going for. Nonthreatening, predictable, totally normal non-hunter Rio.âÂ
âThis is your house, moron, so obviously I get the dramatic exit.â Milo pointed out, very pleased they were in something together, even if the comment had been trivial, and light-hearted. It felt good to be side by side with Orion. He knew, to a certain extent, they really were in this together. In everything together. His friendship with Rio was quickly becoming his main source of support, and he couldnât imagine it any other way. âYou donât need to tell me, I know Iâm hilarious.â He added, watching as his friend stretched lazily, curling up on the sofa in a way that stupidly made him want to find a blanket, fetch him a hot chocolate, and make sure he was comfortable. He looked so innocent, it would be impossible to know all of the terrible things he had seen in his life. The struggles he had to face on a daily basis. Turning his attention back to the film, he couldnât say anything particularly interesting had happened, but he had to admit he had thoroughly enjoyed the viewing experience. Despite not knowing what like that meant, he hummed quietly in response. âSure, whatever.â A quiet laugh managed to escape him as he made a start on what was left of the popcorn. âI donât know about labels, but whoever you are, I like you very much. I appreciate your vibes, you know.â He was only half teasing, needing Rio to know he genuinely enjoyed his company, that moments like these meant more to him than he could ever possibly say. Â
Keeping his gaze fixed on the screen, he didnât want to embarrass Orion further, even if he was desperate to see his reaction to the admission, so he fell back into a comfortable silence, patiently allowing the end of the story play out. Simultaneously, it felt as though it was over in minutes, and took hours to finally draw to a close, but as the credits began to roll, accompanied by a tacky love song he embarrassingly recognised, he turned back to Orion, ready to ask him whether he still wanted pizza. It didnât take him long to realise his friend definitely wasnât hungry, though, and he stared, almost in shock, as Orion slept soundly on the cushions beside him. It wasnât as though he was surprised he was tired, or surprised he had been lulled to sleep by what he could only assume was a vampire satire. It was the fact that he had fallen asleep next to him. Next to a vampire. Dani had made it perfectly clear he couldnât be trusted, that nobody should be left alone with him. And although he knew Orion didnât agree with her, being alone with somebody fully conscious was very different to being alone with them and unaware. Being alone with them and vulnerable. Biting down on his bottom lip, repressing a smile, he shrugged off his hoodie without jostling the couch, carefully draping it over Orionâs form. He could try and find a blanket, but wandering his house without his permission felt too much like a violation, so hopefully the item of clothing would suffice. He didnât need to sleep, he didnât need to rest in the same way Orion did, but as he settled back down again, unable to tear his gaze away, he realised he was in a position to protect. To care for somebody he was fairly certain wasnât used to being cared for. âNight, Rio⊠Iâll be here when you wake up.â Â

A/N: Hey Guys! First of two request filled! Again so sorry for the absence! Hope you like this one, I loved writing it! Another ABO request and Saved Chapter coming soon.Â
Masterlist
You struggle to stay calm as you glance at the mess around you. Your sister always made it look easy and now you wanted to throw it all into the bin and give up. You have soy sauce in your hair, vegetables litter the floor and the chicken you are trying to cut up looks like it has been massacred by a hammer. All you want to do is to make dinner for your Alpha, but you canât cook to save your life. He and Dean are due to be home from their hunt any minute now and the first thing theyâll do is come and check on you. You donât know how you are going to explain this mess. You dip your finger in the home-made teriyaki sauce and bring it up to your mouth. You donât want to, but you need to know if youâre going to have to tip it out and start over or not. You knock the bowl off the bench with a groan, too much soy sauce. This is an absolute disaster.Â
âDude, what have you done to my kitchen?â You freeze at the sound of Deanâs voice and grimace at the mess surrounding you.Â
âThe bin exploded.â You say, speaking before thinking is one of your many bad habits that always seems to get you in more trouble than necessary.Â
Dean raises his eyebrows, arms crossed. âYou know youâre going to have to clean all this up. And if I find out that you ask Cas to help again, Iâll tell Sam about your midnight snacks.â
You understand that Dean felt very strongly about the kitchen, but you arenât a child. You are about to mouth off when Sam appears in the doorway, immediately stopping you in your tracks.Â
âWhat the hell?â His wide eyes take in the mess before landing on you.Â
âHe trashed my kitchen.â Dean interjects, waving his arms around aggressively.Â
âIâm sure there is a reasonable explanation, (Y/N)?â Sam replies, always the peacemaker.
âI canât cook.â You supply, leaning against the bench for support. You are still disappointed at your lack of culinary talents, but youâre calmer now that Sam has arrived. âAnd Dean, I may be an Omega, but Iâm not a kid. I know how to clean up after myself.âÂ
Deanâs eyes flash briefly with an uncontrolled instinct but he shakes it off and offers you an apologetic smile. You roll your eyes in response and give him the finger.Â
âIf you canât cook, why did you try?â Sam questions, obviously still confused.
âI wanted to cook you dinner, didnât really work out.â You say gesturing to the mush of raw chicken.Â
âNo, I suppose not.â He replies with pursed lips. You knew that expression, he is trying not to laugh. You glance over at Dean, to see that he isnât trying to hide his amusement at all.Â
âWhatever, I didnât have high hopes anyway. It probably would have tasted like shit.â You try to hide your disappointment behind a nonchalant persona.
âAlright, well Iâm going to leave you two lovebirds here.â Dean says turning to leave the kitchen. âDonât burn the kitchen down.â He speaks before disappearing completely.
âAsshole.â You mutter, as you turn your back on Sam, crouching down to clean up the vegetables that had ended up on the ground.Â
âWhat were you trying to make?â Sam asks, poking at the chicken, âthis looks almost salvageableâÂ
You scoff, throwing a handful of vegetables in the bin, âTeriyaki Chicken.âÂ
âAh, that explains the soy sauce.â Sam chuckles quietly, grabbing some paper towel to wipe it up. âDo you want to restart, try again?âÂ
You meet his eye for the first time since Dean left the room, âNo, Not really. Iâm too pissed off.âÂ
   âDo you want a hug?âÂ
You pause halfway to the bin and turn around to face him, âDoes it look like I want a hug?âÂ
Sam looks you over for a minute, smiling calmly. âIt looks like you want to punch something, but I thought a hug might be even better.â Discarding the soaked paper towels, he holds his arms up, an open invitation for you to seek comfort in his warmth. You canât say no.Â
You dump the veggies youâre holding into the bin and walk back over to him, leaning into his embrace. You donât hesitate to nuzzle further into his chest, scenting him, the smell of leather, books and hair product surrounds you in a calming blanket. Although you would never admit, you love the way Sam is able to calm you so easily. Not even your parents were able to do that.Â
   âBetter?âÂ
âOf course. What are we going to do now? I ruined dinner.â You tighten your grip on Sam, still needing the calm scent he was releasing.Â
âWell, if you let go of me, maybe I could help you? We could probably use some of the chicken, Iâll sort through it and cut some more, if you cut up some fresh vegetables.â
âI donât want to let go, or cut vegetables.â You mutter into his chest.
   âDonât you want dinner?âÂ
âNot if it means having to let go.âÂ
Now that you had him, you didnât want to lose him. The day has been long and stressful, you hate when he leaves to go on hunts and cooking is now your worst enemy.Â
Sam understands this and finishes clearing up the rest of your mess with you attached to his arm. He leads you through the library, where Dean is resting with his feet up on the table and a beer in hand.Â
âKitchenâs clean, but raincheck on dinner.â Sam says, gesturing to you next to him.Â
Dean raises his eyebrows at the sight. Itâs not often that you allow yourself to be vulnerable in front of him and after a sharp look from Sam, he has to bite back whatever rude comment he was about to say.Â
âI can see that.â He mumbles.Â
âIf you wouldnât mind getting dinner, please. I donât mind where itâs from, just one of the usual places. (Y/N) and I will make dinner tomorrow.âÂ
Dean eyes Sam, before nodding and standing up. âIâll be back in half an hour.âÂ
Sam turns around, making his way back to the room you share, your arms still wrapped tightly around his waist. Once in his room, he pulls you off and gently sits you down on the bed, passing you one of his jackets. âWear this, Iâll be back in a second.âÂ
Sam is gone before you can protest and you press your face into his jacket.Â
âWhat the hell is wrong with you?â You mutter to yourself. You know that sometimes when Sam gets back from a hunt you get clingy, but this is a whole new level.Â
Sam comes back in with a pile of clean clothes which he dumps onto the bed. âAlright shoes off.â
âWhat are we doing?â You did what he told you to, but not without questioning his sanity.
âWeâre snuggling.â He replies, hopping up on the bed, creating a nest with the pile of clothes he brought in.
You frown at him, still confused. âWhy?âÂ
Sam pauses what he is doing to look up at you, âI think, because of what happened in your past, and our still fairly new relationship, you're starting to experience feelings of anxiety when we are separated. Iâm guessing you've been ignoring them, channelling your nerves into something productive like cooking, which is good. But every time Iâve come back from a hunt, youâve been slowly getting more and more attached. Itâs okay, but itâs something weâre going to have to work on.âÂ
You are so embarrassed you almost leave the room, but the look Sam gives you is one of complete adoration and love. So you slide into his embrace, and find yourself completely surrounded by him and his scent.Â
âHow long have you known?â You ask, snuggling into his chest.Â
âI suspected it a while ago, I believe today confirms it though, donât you?â He pulls me closer to him and runs his hand up and down my arm.Â
   âIâm sorry.âÂ
â(Y/N), youâve got nothing to be sorry for, we all have our moments. Anyway, do you just want to snuggle or do you want to put on a show?âÂ
You remove your face from your Alphaâs warm chest to meet his caring gaze. âCan we just stay like this? I missed you.âÂ
âOf course. So, aside from making a mess in the kitchen, what else did you get up to the last few days?âÂ
You are ashamed to say that you didnât do anything besides your failed attempt at dinner. You spent most of the time watching TV in bed. And when you werenât doing that you were trying to get into the locker where they keep the guns so you could practice shooting. You wanted to go on hunts, but Sam wouldnât let you. Stupid Alpha.Â
âNot much, just TVâ, you tell him.Â
Sam chuckles, âSo you didnât try to break into the gun locker?âÂ
   âNoooâŠâÂ
âNice try, you left the light on in the armoury, and a lock pick next to the locker. You couldnât have tried to be more obvious. What distracted you?â Samâs voice had hardened a little and you could feel a scolding coming.Â
âI noticed what time it was, I had to start cooking.âÂ
Sam laughs quietly before bringing up the topic you knew he would. â(Y/N), I donât want you hunting.âÂ
You sat up, frustration building in your stomach. âSam, Iâm not some weak, helpless little female Omega. I may be an Omega, but Iâm not completely breakable. Sure Iâm smaller than men who are Betaâs or Alphaâs but why does that automatically put me on house arrest?â
Sam sighs, he gave you a look that told you he knew this was coming. âI know you arenât weak and I know you hate it when I say it's for your protection, but it really is. There are no Omegaâs in the FBI or any other law enforcement agency. That means weâd be leaving you alone in a motel, and thatâs a big no. And if youâre there fighting alongside me, Iâm going to be more worried about you, than myself or the person we are trying to save.âÂ
He brought his hands up to cup your face and gently kissed your forehead. âIâm sorry (Y/N), but I just canât have you hunting.âÂ
   âSammy, (Y/N)! Food!âÂ
You sigh loudly, and move to push Sam away but he grabs your wrist. âI understand youâre upset. Iâm sorry, I really am. But you are safer here, itâs as simple as that. You just have to trust that Iâll come back.â He gives you a small smile, getting up and moving to the door.Â
âBy the way, you still have soy sauce in your hair.âÂ

Come to me
previous chapter. 1 - 2 - 2.5
PART 3 - next
Summary. After what happened in a relationship in the past, you found  it difficult to trust someone with the gentleman image. 'Gentleman' seems like merely a concept and it was probably impossible  for someone to be a genuine one. Now that you're stuck with the number one gentleman at campus for a  group project, how would you cope with the one and only Joshua Hong?
Genre. College!au, non-idol!au / friends to lover
Pairing. Joshua x y/n x a little bit of S.Coups, and a sprinkle of Wonwoo
a/n: text au/social media au parts coming soon!
The biggest wish you had during work group in Joshua's house was to leave as early as possible. You ignored your stomach growling since it was already dinner time. But the house owner insisted you to stay since he already prepared meal for two. Never had you been in such a dilemma when you were hungry, the smell of his cooking was quite appetizing, and at the same time you just wanted to go home. And at this random time, Johnny always popped up, now in a form of phone call which you picked up without bothering to walk away from Joshua's sight.
"Girly, did you forget I invited you to the party at Nakamoto's?" "Oh, shit, I totally forgot." You checked the clock. "Sorry, John, I lost track of time." "What exactly are you doing? Studying?" "Uh.." You stole a glance at Joshua, hoping that Johnnyâs voice on the phone was not that loud. "You definitely are." "Uh.. yeah.." A teenie tiny interruption from Joshua sneezing and a loud 'bless you' he said to himself were something you never knew you would be immediately clowned at by sincerely yours, John Suh. "Wait. Where are you? Did I just hear Joshâ" "No, you didn't." "Yes, I absolutely did. You're studying with the Hong dude!" "I'm not!" "Yes, you are. Babe, he's at your place? Wait, no, you wouldn't do that. You're at his place?" âWhy does this guy always get to guess anything right? Ugh why am I friends with him?â you screamed internally. "You still in his house right now?" "That's because we're not finished yet." "Well, good luck and happy studying, I guess?" "Just hang up, Suh." "Yeah, sure. Better not make Hong dude feel neglected." "Johnny, I swear to God, stop." "Have fun. Take a breather because it's weekend. And don't forget to use protection." "I will murder you one day." "Love you too."
What a funny lie. You and Joshua had completed the presentation and ended it with a thank you page since 20 minutes ago. Now he basically just kept talking about finding more references when you thought it was not mandatory. You just had to convince him that what you both had done was more than enough.
"Is it Johnny?"
"Yeah."
Joshua nodded his head, somewhat understandingly. "There's nothing much left, I guess?"
"Yeah." Now going home early really sounded great, but how do you tell that politely to the house owner? But, isn't it normal to go home once you finish everything? Like, saying 'hey it's past 7 PM, you and I definitely deserve a good nap so I'll get going now, see you tomorrow' sounds pretty casual, right?
"Do you want to hang out for a while?" he asked even before you finished your thoughts.
You shrugged in confusion.
"Look, we've been hanging out but all we do is studying and getting this project done. So why not trying to do something else, like normal friends would? I mean, you know my friends, and you're pretty close with them. Isn't it weird that I'm the only one who is like a stranger?" He tried to read your face, which was still looking puzzled. "That's if you think of me as your friend. Because, I do.. and I want to get to know you more.." He sounded unsure as his voice faded away.
"Oh, yeah.. yeah, yeah, of course," you blabbered without thinking. You were so going to be the weird one if you blurted out that you saw him only as a project partner. The future of having awkward relationship between him and the other guys seemed crystal clear if you rejected him befriending you.
He smiled, feeling relieved. "Do you like watching movies?"
"Yeah, sure." At this point you had no idea how many yeahs you have said.
"Do you want to pick a movie?"
"Anything would be fine."
"Okay. I hope you're fine with horror movies."
You smiled, wondering if you looked panic when he said horror movies. You were so bad at horror movies. Mingyu was one of your victims as he became your personal punching bag whenever the jumpscares were about to pop out. Johnny also hated you for screaming hysterically on every jumpscare scene. Now, should you fake something and just run away to go home, or ask him nicely to pick another movie?
Joshua started setting up a folded mattress, some pillows and a blanket on the floor. His act just distracted you from your escaping plan. You stared at him, question marks were running around in your head, internally rambling 'what's with the mattress and why not sit on the couch?'.
"Oh, this is what I usually do when watching movies, either alone or with the guys," he said, as if he could read your mind. "Come sit here. I promise it's super comfy."
You were practically hypnotized by his sweet voice. All thoughts of running away or asking him to change the movie just magically disappeared as you slowly adjusted your position on the mattress. Joshua naturally shifted to sit closer next to you. To share popcorn, in his defense.
You had been telling yourself to be brave once the opening started. But somehow you just kept shrinking while hugging a pillow throughout the first 10 minutes. Joshua noticed how tense you looked now that your head was on the level of his shoulder, even lower, and the back of your head resting against the folded foot rest of the sofa. You were almost completely lying down with your knees bent to partially cover your sight towards the TV screen.
He chuckled quietly. "Are you okay?"
"Oh, yeah. I am perfectly fine," you quickly answered.
"You sure?"
"Yeah. I'm comfortable." You hugged the pillow tighter, slightly burying half of your face against it. And finally that moment that you'd been expecting came. Yes, the jumpscares. Followed with one of the biggest reaction Joshua had ever seen, after Seokmin and Mingyu, which made him laugh although he had to be your next punching bag. You practically shoved yourself towards him, quite with force he would say, and ended up hiding behind his shoulder. At this point it didn't matter anymore that Joshua Hong was not more than a project partner and you wouldn't even talk to him outside the project activities. You just desperately needed something to hold on. And to hit while screaming.
Joshua's masculine yet sweet scent sometimes distracted you. The way he laughed at you also started to get in your head. But you can't really focus on that because horror movies always got the best of you. Even you unconsciously wouldn't let go of his arm. Your sanity was split as you cursed yourself for being weak.
"Hey, are you okay?" he asked, still chuckling. To your surprise, his hand reached yours and gripped your fingers, still resting on his other arm. You immediately pulled away once you got your yourself together, realizing how physically close you were.
"Yeah. I may not look like it but I do like horror movies." Okay. You didn't know why you just talked gibberish. But then your act showed otherwise because you just almost jumped before finally going back to your hiding spot: behind his broad shoulder. He giggled again.
You could feel Joshua adjusting his sitting position with you on his backside. His head was slightly leaning towards yours, effectively making your heart flutter due to the sudden escalation of physical interaction. Eventually he tilted, making contact to your head for a few seconds before he turned to look at you.
"Should I just turn it off or change..." He half whispered while his eyes were searching yours. His eyes moved quickly from your eyes, to your lips, then back to your eyes again. You were sharp to catch his movement when he started leaning in and slowly decreasing the distance between your face.
Your loud ringtone just saved the day so you could release yourself from the awkward scene with him. Scooting a bit away from Joshua, you loudly picked up the phone. "Oh, Mingyu sunbaenim. With Soonyoung and Wonwoo? Okay, sure.."
Joshua silently kept his eyes fixated on you. He rubbed the back of his neck while waiting for you to finish the call.
"Is that Mingyu?" He began speaking to break the silence when you were occupied to your phone after hanging up.
"Yeah." You pretended to look at the time on the clock and be surprised. "It's getting late. I think I should go home."
"Y/n, I'm sorry about earlier.. I wasn't think-"
"What about earlier?" you quickly interrupted. Talking about what just happened during the movie was the last thing you wanted to do. You simply didn't want everything to be even more awkward than it already was.
Joshua opened his mouth, and quickly shut it. "Nothing. It was nothing.." He tried not to look flustered. "I'll take you home?"
"No, no need to. I can catch the bus."
"Okay then. Anyway, it's fun today. Do you think.. we can do this again.. next time?"
"Yeah, sure." You faked an excited tone. "I'll tell Soonyoung and the others, I think they can manage to arrange it."
Joshua almost choked himself, slightly gasping in disbelief. "That... would be great."

when iâm walking in my sleep
anonymous asked:
Hii, i love your writing, just finished your new buddie fic. Loved it! If you have inspiration for a storyline like the following i would be so happy to read: Eddie taking care of Buck after the screw removing surgery.
I deleted the original post due to it not showing up in the tags, so sorry if you didnât see it, anon! But here it is again :)Â
trigger warnings for this: use of painkillers even though taken as prescribed, mention of an unspecified nightmare, and to be safe emetophobia as itâs mentioned
Eddie has always had the innate need to care for the ones he loves and the ones who need it. When he was five, he tried his hardest alongside his sisters to save an injured squirrel that ended up at their doorstep. Heâd take care of his parents when either one of them was sick as he grew up. The need to help everyone never simmered, only grew when he joined the Army, boiled over when Christopher was born. Firefighting was the perfect job for Eddie, he got to feed his desire to help those in need and find the camaraderie within his team that heâd been missing since his Army days.Â
Helping people helps him, so he really canât stop himself from jumping at the opportunity to take Buck home after he gets his screws out when everyone elseâs schedules are too busy. He cares about Buck a lot -- maybe too much and not in the way someone cares about their best friend -- so making sure heâs okay and comfortable after a surgery he knows Buck was scared shitless for, itâs not a big deal for Eddie.Â
He finds that maybe heâs a little in over his head when Buck greets him with a loopy smile. Heâs just a tiny bit in love with Evan Buckley, and having dealt with post-surgery Buck before, Eddie is sure his heart might burst with every zany grin and stage-whispered expression of appreciation.
Buckâs surgeon, who Eddie has met more times than one should have, strolls into the dimly lit recovery room with an amused smile. âGood to see you awake.â
Buck snickers. âYou say that every time, Doc. Soon youâre going to have to stop acting surprised that Iâm invincible.â
Eddie canât tell if what Buck just said makes sense, a twenty-four hour shift with very little sleep does things to your common sense, but his doctor seems like heâs heard it before.
His doctor shakes his head, albeit fondly, as if itâs something he expects but canât believe heâs hearing. âHow many times am I going to have to warn you that youâre not invincible before you stop ending up in my OR?â Eddie suspects every time. âHopefully, there wonât be a next surgery for you Mr. Buckley. The screws are out, everything should be smooth sailing after that, unless you decide to test that invincibility theory.âÂ
Eddie canât hold back the laugh as Buckâs face displays his disbelief. âI may be stupid, doc, but Iâm no idiot.â
His doctor turns to face Eddie as he facepalms. âI wish you all the luck and patience in the world taking care of this one.â He jests.
âYou know Iâm always gonna need it, Doc.â Eddie grins. âThere anything I should watch out for or steer clear of with him?â
âYou know, the usual; donât let him walk without his crutches, make sure he eats before he takes his next dose of pain medicine weâre sending home with him, and keep him off the leg as much as possible. Elevate it, ice it if the pain gets too much, spare some time for your own sanity.â
Buck grumbles. âIâm not that bad, right? Tell him, Eds.â
âMy mom taught me to always tell the truth.â Eddie teases but relents when the pout Buck gives goes straight to his heart. âFine. Youâre a joy to be around, Evan Buckley.â
âYou heard him, Doc! Iâm a joy to be around!âÂ
âNever said you werenât, Buck, just saying your joy is here more than either of us would like.â He smirks. âAlright, alright, Iâm sure Eddie wants to get out of here as much as you do so youâre free to go. Everything looks fine post-surgery and as long as you take correct care, itâll stay fine. You know to call me if thereâs an infection or it takes longer to heal than it should, you know the drill. I will see you in six weeks, Buck. Please not a second sooner?â
Buck sends him a sloppy thumbs up and thanks him, says he canât promise anything but heâll try his best and Eddie doesnât want to think about waiting through another one of his surgeries. Heâs fine with the aftercare, but waiting to see if Buck came out of each surgery alive is something similar to hell, heâs sure.
When the doctor leaves, Buck looks Eddieâs way. âEddddieeeeee, my man, a little help?â
Eddie shakes his head and grabs the bag of Buckâs clothes before going to help Buck sit up on the side of the stretcher he was on.
Buck giggles. âMy hospital gown is open in the back so donât look. My ass isnât really my best feature.â
Well thatâs a straight up lie.
âAw, Eds, thank you. Your buttâs pretty great too.â Buck grins like the compliment means the world to him. The implied compliment that Eddie definitely did not mean to say aloud.
The only thing that keeps him from hiding himself in embarrassment is that Buck is as high as a kite on his painkillers and most likely wonât remember even leaving the hospital.Â
He prays the blush doesnât show on his face as he helps Buck into his basketball shorts. He couldnât tell you why he gets flustered every time he had to help Buck this way. They were adults, it wasnât anything domestic, really, just⊠intimate. Heâd help whenever and whatever way Buck needed, because if Eddie Diaz was anything, he wasnât shy. He was never uncomfortable. Just flustered beyond belief.Â
Buck falls back onto the stretcher dramatically after heâs got his shorts on, taking Eddie down with him. Heâs laughing hysterically as he wraps his arms around Eddieâs body in a side hug.
âHey, Eddie?â He looks up at him. âYouâre strong. Can you carry me to your truck?â
Eddie lets out a surprised laugh. âI donât think so, buddy. I can ask for a wheelchair?â
Buck snorts. âBeing wheeled out is just embarrassing, man,â
âAnd being carried out isnât?â
He responds with a whine. âYou donât have to be smart all the time, you know? My bones feel like theyâve been replaced by jelly, you wonât even try?â
Eddie fondly rolls his eyes. âYou can lean on me, okay? I donât have to carry you to not let you fall, Buck, Iâve got you.â
âYouâve got me?â
âYeah, Iâve got you. Now, up you go.âÂ
By the time Buck is settled in Eddieâs living room, foot elevated under a pillow on the coffee table and more blankets than Buck could ever need by his side, theyâre both exhausted. Eddie plops down next to Buck on the couch and doesnât question it when he leans his head on Eddieâs chest.Â
Eddie raises an eyebrow when Buck moans. âYou alright?â
âI donât wanna throw up.â He whines. âMake it go away.â
âYouâre nauseous?â Eddie asks, already standing to get the trashcan from his bathroom for him but is stopped by Buck. âIâll be right back, just gonna get you the trashcan just in case.â
Eddie has always hated pain medicine. He hates not having any sense of control of what heâs saying if heâs going to remember it the next day, he hates the nausea that comes with, and he hates that every time, without fail, it makes Buck cry.
His lip is quivering as he looks up at Eddie, and itâs just then that Eddie realizes how actually gone he was for Evan Buckley.Â
âDonât leave me.â Eddie probably would have teased him if Buck had been whining but he wasnât. There was real fear in his voice, like Eddie would leave out the bathroom window or something.Â
âSo youâre not nauseous anymore?â He goes with instead, eyebrow raised and arms crossed. He remembers Buck calling it the dad stance, but if it gets Buck to let go of his shirt so he can grab something to stop him from vomiting on his floor, heâll use it.
Buck shakes his head, stopping abruptly as he pales.
Eddie snorts. âDonât lie to me ever again.â He reaches for Buckâs face, cupping his jaw in his hand and rubbing his thumb across his cheek. âLet me at least get you a bowl. Youâll be able to see me better in the kitchen.â
Buck finally lets go of the grip on Eddieâs shirt and turns to watch Eddie walk away. Eddie hates himself for the way he subconsciously walks to maybe impress Buck. Thanks to the painkillers, he knows that Buck thinks his ass is nice, he can feel Buckâs eyes watching the back of him, and Eddie prays that Buck is at least the slightest bit interested in him.Â
What is he thinking? Thereâs no way Buck could be interested. Theyâre best friends, thatâs all they are, it doesnât matter how stupidly and pathetically in love Eddie is.Â
Buck is half asleep by the time Eddie is back with a bowl that shouldnât be missed.Â
The second Eddie sits down next to him and hands Buck the bowl, he holds it to his chest and goddamnit why is this so adorable?Â
âI doubt youâll make it through the first minutes of it, let alone an episode, but you down to watch Avatar?â
Buck smiles tiredly, eyes refusing to open. âAs long as youâre talking about The Last Airbender and not the creepy movie.â
Eddie chuckles. âYou think Avatar is creepy?â
âYou donât?â Buck raises an eyebrow, still not opening his eyes, and gives Eddie a look that says heâs shocked no one else feels the same. âI read somewhere thereâs a new one coming out in 2021, like, why?â
Eddie snickers. âI can kind of understand your fear of Childâs Play because itâs supposed to be horror, but câmon, Avatar? I cried, if I remember correctly.â
Buck gasps. âChildâs Play is horror, thank you very much, and terrifying. End of discussion. Put on The Last Airbender so I can stop thinking about that thing.âÂ
âThat thing has a name, Buck. Chucky. Heâs your friend âtil the end.â Eddie teases but opens Netflix on his TV, quickly selecting from his Keep Watching list.Â
Buck doesnât say anything after that and Eddie assumes heâs asleep, until Buck mumbles something.Â
âWhat was that?â
âWould you stop being my friend if you knew I was in love with you?â Eddie hears him loud and clear this time but heâs stunned at what comes from his best friend, disbelief that he even heard him correctly.Â
âCome again?âÂ
When Eddie doesnât get a response, he turns and finds that Buck fell asleep right after he gives him a heart attack.Â
Fantastic. Fan-fucking-tastic. Though he thinks he heard Buck loud and clear, it canât be right. He dreamed of Buck reciprocating his feelings many times before, but thatâs all Eddie could ever believe it was. Dreams. He hadnât even known Buck was interested in men, let alone interested in him.Â
Eddie doesnât know how long heâs in his head for, but when he notices the sweat glistening on Buckâs forehead, none of it matters. He places the back of his hand on Buckâs forehead, fearing a fever due to an infection or flu, but he doesnât have a fever.
Then Buck jolts and suddenly Eddie knows whatâs going on. Itâs not the first time heâs seen Buck in the middle of a nightmare, itâs not his first time dealing with nightmares, either, so he knows what to do.
He distances himself from Buck as far as he can and still is able to shake him. He knows from personal experience to never stay close when waking someone from a nightmare, the black eye heâd accidentally given Buck one night being proof.Â
âHey, Buck, you gotta wake up, buddy.â He shakes his shoulder lightly. âItâs just a nightmare, youâre not there.â
When Buck doesnât wake up after a third try, Eddie tries a different tactic and scoots a little closer, grabbing Buckâs shoulder and shaking heavier than before. âEvan, Evan, wake up!â
Buck jolts awake, Bobbyâs name on the tip of his tongue, swallowed by a scream. He canât catch his breath, Eddie can tell he hasnât fully grasped that wherever he just was in his nightmare was long gone and that heâs safe so he does everything he can to clear that fog.Â
He takes Buckâs shaking hand in his own and squeezes. âHey, Evan, youâre at my place, on my couch, nowhere near any danger. Youâre safe, okay?â
He can practically see the fog clear from his mind, taking in his surroundings and squeezes Eddieâs hand in his. âEddie?â
âYeah, man, Iâm here. Feeling calmer?â
Before Buck can respond, he winces and muffles a scream of pain by biting on his lip. Eddie jumps into action as Buck grabs onto the bottom of his cast tightly, as to squeeze out the agony he was feeling.Â
Eddie checks the time. âYouâre due for your next dose of your painkiller at least.â
But Buck isnât listening to him. Heâs too focused on the pain that Eddie can only now vaguely remember after getting the bullet removed from his shoulder. Before long, Eddie realizes Buck is mumbling something in between choked sobs and muffled screams of agony.
âEvan,â He tries to use his name again in hopes itâll get him to focus on Eddie and not the pain.Â
Buckâs face is twisted in pain when he finally looks at Eddie and not for the time, he wishes he could take Buckâs pain away.Â
âI hate Freddie Costas. I hate him so much.â He sobs freely, still holding his bad leg like itâs a matter of life or death. âFuck, it hurts.â
Eddie stands. âIâm gonna get your pain pills and an ice pack.â
Buck gulps the pill down with no water and Eddie has to stop himself from finding that oddly one of the most attractive things heâs seen Buck do. He also holds back a cringe, never one for taking pills in any way.Â
As Eddie unwraps the beginnings of Buckâs cast, Buck starts to calm, his tears slow, his body relaxes against Eddieâs side.Â
âIâm sorry,â He whispers.Â
âDonât be. Trust me when I say I get it.â He looks Buck directly in the eyes. âNever feel sorry about feeling things.âÂ
He doesnât ask if he wants to talk about it. He knows Buck will talk about it if or when he wanted so it ends up being a useless question.Â
Itâs quiet again after that. The only sounds that could be heard around Eddieâs was their breathing and the air conditioner running. Avatar is paused on the TV and Eddie doesnât make any move to unpause it.Â
Then Eddie is in his head again.
If he heard right, why would Buck be into him? He wants more than anything for it to be true, but he couldnât see how it would be true. But he knows he heard what Buck asked, knows he should be thrilled Buck loves him back, but the doubts eat him up. What if he was just asking in general, not personally? What if he thought he was talking to someone else? Maybe heâs exaggerating his gratefulness for taking care of him and he means it platonically?
Itâs killing him not knowing.
Eddie clears his throat. âHey, uh- earlier you asked- before you fell asleep, do you-â
Heâs a stuttering mess, hasnât stumbled over his words this much since he asked Shannon out in their senior year.Â
Buck cuts in, putting him out of his misery. âIf youâre asking if I remember asking you if youâd still stay my friend if you found out I was in love with you, then yes, I do remember and Iâm so sorry.â
Sorry for what? Iâm sorry I was just loopy, it was just a question, Iâm not actually in love with you?Â
Buck swallows hard. âDo you hate me?â
Eddieâs eyes widened completely at the question. âWhy would I hate you?â
âBecause Iâm in love with you and continued to be your friend without telling you as such?âÂ
His heart is racing a mile a minute because Evan Buckley loved him back and heâd had no idea the entire time. He shakes his head with a smile and unshed tears burning his eyes. âI would be the biggest hypocrite if I hated you for that.â
It looks as though Buck hadnât heard right as he shook his head, but he hopes he understands.Â
âCome again?â Eddie canât help but snort at how similar Buck and him are sometimes. âWhy are you crying? Donât cry!â
âIâm crying because I love you and I just found out itâs reciprocated, okay? Give me a second here.â He lets out a mix between a laugh and a cry. âHoly shit, you love me!â
Eddieâs mind is reeling. The more the shock wears off, the more joy and excitement he starts to feel.Â
âYou love me!â Buck grins and leans forward, stopping to look Eddie in the eye and ask for permission -- which he eagerly grants -- and soon, what Eddie dreamed of since the Grenade Incident is happening. Their lips touch and Eddie Diaz tries not to be a cliche, but itâs a whole show of fireworks, kissing Buck. More than he could have ever imagined.Â
Itâs an hour later, and theyâre laying in Eddieâs bed, bodies pressed up against the other. Eddie hasnât felt so secure in years, canât even remember a time when things felt right until then. Lying next to Buck, things feel light for the first time since he doesnât know how long, and the feeling of security is what lulls Eddie to sleep.Â
Until Buck starts to sniffle and then Eddie is wide awake again. Â Â
âYou okay, Buck?â
Buck shakes his head rapidly with a pout. âNo, I have to pee.âÂ
He tries to keep in his laughter, he really does, but the shock and amusement outweighs his ability not to laugh at things that arenât funny to other people.Â
Buck sniffles once more. âWhy are you laughing?â
âBecause youâre adorable and I love you.â Eddieâs lips quirk into a soft smile. âNow, câmon, up you go.âÂ
Buck grumbles. âLove you too.â
When heâs done, Eddie turns back to get his crutches and gets the surprise of a lifetime when Buck reaches out to slap his ass.
âHey!âÂ
âWhat? I did tell you you had a nice ass.â
âOh my God.â

Living Room Graduation
Youâre due to graduate from college, but due to COVID, it was cancelled. Chris, your neighbor, and his brother try to give you a graduation anyway.
-
You were gutted, to say the least, about your graduation being cancelled. Actually, your entire final semester was cancelled, your parents were stuck with your grandparents in Maine, and you had a huge old house to yourself and you couldnât even have anyone quarantine with you. So you were at your worst, skipping Google Hangouts classes to re-watch the same TV shows youâd seen four times to binge all of the Lord of the Rings movies (you donât even like them really, theyâre just on Netflix), to sleep for fourteen hours a day, and only leave the house for curbside pickup or your weekly Starbucks run. You were completely and utterly done with life at that point.
It was around seven when you realized the trash collector was supposed to come in half an hour, so you sprung out of bed, threw on some shorts, and tried to make it. You probably looked like a mess, and it only slightly comforted you when you saw your neighbor, Chris, walking his own trash out in a sweatshirt and sweatpants. He was a sweet guy. He was an actor, he was in some of your favorite movies, and he had the sweetest dog who would sometimes come to your front yard and roll around. His brother, Scott, had been quarantining with him. At least they werenât alone.
âYou forgot too?â Chris asked across the driveway. You were probably six or seven feet apart.
âYeah, my parents usually do this,â you responded. âBut theyâre stuck in Maine, so Iâm here.â
âOh, no! Hey, arenât you supposed to be finishing college? Boston U, right? Is it pre something?â
âPre-law,â you responded. You put the trash can down and crossed your arms in the cold, still talking to him. âIâm deferring law school for a year to try and get an internship and pay some of my loans off. I guess youâre not working right now, either?â
âNope. I got a series coming out on Apple, but nothingâs filming right now, so Scott and I are just kind of sitting ducks,â he answered. âI gotta go take the dog out for a walk, but you should come over at some point as long as you donât have coronavirus. Weâre good company. And weâd be glad to have you.â You smiled.
âThank you,â you said with a smile on your face. âYeah, itâs freezing, Iâm going back inside to put some pants on.â He laughed as you turned and walked across the driveway, bare-footed, until you reached your front door and slipped inside.
From that March evening, you were a regular at the Evans house. You came over for breakfast, lunch, even dinner sometimes. You and Scott would sit on the couch, Dodger between you, and watch TV for most of the day until you had to tune into class, when youâd run home. As it started warming up, you started using their pool. You missed your family, but Chris and Scott were quickly becoming some of your favorite people. Chris even networked you with one of his lawyers who was helping him with a political website he was coming out with, earning you a remote internship for the summer.
May came and your spirits were low, despite the fact that you had Chris and Scott all but living with you. You hated the fact that you couldnât even protest for your classes to be graded so your GPA remained at a 3.89 and wouldnât round up. You hated that your parents still werenât home because they were taking care of your grandparents still. You hated being in that big farmhouse, all alone, even though your friends were next door. You hated the fact that you couldnât do any school traditions or even remotely celebrate your graduation. But you tried to keep yourself occupied, like watching all of the Marvel movies with Scott just to annoy the shit out of Chris.
âOh, come on! I donât look that bad!â Chris defended as you were watching the first Captain America. He was making lunch for the three of you (because you and Scott only wanted to postmates in and Chris insisted on making food), so he was in the kitchen just behind where you and Scott were laughing and commenting.
âDude, no one looks good in polyester stars and stripes! Just admit it!â You said to him. He groaned and jokingly shoved you into the couch. âIâm sorry. You just make it so easy to make fun of you.â
âI could say the same. You werenât fooling anyone when you put that sweater on while you were tanning outside.â That was right â you had put a sweater on over your bikini the day before when you were at their pool, trying to cover up the fact that you were attending class and tanning at the same time.
âOh, thatâs different!â You said, walking into the kitchen just to punch him in the side. Youâd seen how he worked out and that was definitely the most vulnerable part of him.
      âHey!â
âGuys, no roughhousing!â Scott called, not even bothering to look behind you. Your phone chimed, signaling that you had class in ten minutes, and you sighed.
âGo on and use the office,â Chris said to you, âand Iâll have lunch after.â
âThank you,â you replied, grabbing your laptop and running up the stairs to Chrisâs office area. He always kept it the cleanest room in the house, but it was filled with pictures of him and his co-stars, pictures of him and his family. Your favorite was a framed picture of Dodger right in front of his computer.
You logged into class and the Google Hangouts noise started playing loudly. Chris looked up at the ceiling before walking over to Scott, knowing that you were getting ready for class and wouldnât be back down. He sat down next to his brother and pet the dog who was always at his side.
âOkay, since her graduation got cancelled, I wanna do something,â Chris said to Scott. âShe deserves it. And her parents arenât even here to see her graduate.â
âWell, what do you want to do?â Chris sighed, taking his phone from his pocket, and looked up your collegeâs website. Then he saw the COVID information page, which had plans for graduation on it.
âIt looks like theyâre doing a virtual graduation with all of their names and pictures and everything. So maybe we could screen it here, give her a nice brunch and some alcohol, make her feel not so anti-climactic,â he suggested, handing Scott the phone. The graduation was going to be on YouTube, so it was easy to pull up on the TV. And they could lure you over under the guise of something else and surprise you with it.
âAlright, then, how do you wanna do this? We have to make some excuse to keep her out until that time.â
âJust⊠You go with her on a Starbucks run or something after class today. Find a way to make sure itâs the one across town. Thatâll give me enough of a chance to make some food and put some stuff up and go over to her house and steal her cap and gown.â
âChristopher, you are a mastermind,â Scott said. âRemind me never to piss you off while weâre in quarantine. You have time, money, and motive.â Chris chuckled and went back to making lunch, bringing the meat out to the grill while you were still in class.
Over the next few days, you didnât suspect anything. You went along with everything, as usual, and Chris was even alone with you as you walked Dodger. He managed to keep it a secret, even though he wanted to burst and tell you that you shouldnât be sad on your graduation. The week leading up to it, he forced you to use the office space almost every day. He gave you food and coffee, he made you take breaks for your sanity, and he made you get nine hours of sleep every night. Finally, the day before graduation, you burst into the door.
âGuys!â You said loudly, holding a printed piece of paper. âI contested to get my classes graded instead of pass fail and they did it! I have a 3.9 now!â
âThatâs amazing!â Chris said, walking over to give you a hug.
âWhat? Thatâs awesome!â Scott got up off the couch and hugged you too. Even Dodger looked excited.
âSo now I can actually say I have a 3.9.â
âLet me see it!â Chris took the paper from your hands, looking at all of your grades. Despite all of the meltdowns and classes you skipped, you managed an A in every single one of them. âIâm so proud of you!â He said, hugging you again.
âIâm going to go call my parents,â you said.
âOh, by the way,â Chris said, grabbing you before you could make it out the door. âCome over tomorrow at 8:30. No questions asked, alright? And wear something cute?â You gave him a look before turning around and leaving.
âDude, you basically spoiled it!â Scott said, elbowing his brother.
âWhat happened to no roughhousing?â Chris asked. He ran away before Scott could do anything. He had some work to do, if only for you.
The next morning you showed up at their door at exactly 8:30, carrying a six pack and hoping that whatever they had planned would allow you to get drunk. Youâd finally passed out after watching Baccalaureate and the awards ceremonies all by yourself. Your best friend was the valedictorian, too, and you called her to cry about it. But you were up bright and earlier than usual when Scott opened the door and shuffled you in. Red and white was everywhere â theyâd pulled out some Christmas decorations that were red garlands, Chris had literally put glitter confetti all over a table, and there was a cookie cake on the table with your name on it.
You teared up as soon as you saw the cookie cake. You could smell breakfast, too. Heâd made you an entire meal, bigger than the usual kind. Both of the boys were wearing red, too, and you beamed. Theyâd planned you an entire graduation party in their living room because you couldnât go to yours.
âWhat?â You asked. They both just laughed and embraced you in an Evans sandwich.
âI stole your cap and gown too,â Chris said, âyou should really lock your doors when youâre over here for class.â You laughed.
      âThank you, so much, guys.â
âItâs the least we can do. Weâre proud of you. Come on and get some food and alcohol and we can cry through the ceremony together.â You laughed again and started making the rounds in the kitchen, grabbing a little bit of everything except for some extra bacon, and you let Chris pour you a massive glass full of alcohol for yourself. He brought out your gap and gown and your cords and stoles and made you put them on. The ceremony started at 9, so you werenât too pressed for time. But you sat down between the two of them, Dodger right on top of you, and watched as your name eventually came on screen. Both boys cheered and nudged you, clinking all of your glasses together.
âIâm so proud of you,â Chris said, âreally.â You leaned into his shoulder and then Scottâs, just grateful that you had them.
âIâm really glad we took the trash out at the same time,â you said with a sniffle.
âOh, donât cry! Come on, we have alcohol!â Scott said. That just made you laugh.
âCome on, kid,â Chris said as he messed up your hair. âLetâs get some cake.â
A/N: Iâm sorry this is so short but I hope you like it! Congrats to anyone in the Class of 2020!

Mistakes & Regrets I
Summary: When a trip to your Dadâs hometown of Hawkins goes wrong, you end up in the year 1983, and have to learn how to cope with being stuck in the past.
Pairing: Steve Harrington / Future!Reader (Slow Burn)
A/n: This is my first stranger things fic, Iâve done other fandoms, and iâve been itching to get this idea out, let me know if you liked the first part, and if you want to be tagged! (Pls be nice, iâm shy lol) (Also, I had this on a side blog, that I decided to bring to my main blog)
âąâąâą
The 1980âs were weird, that was your final opinion. Mainly because it was so much like home, they had phones, they dressed almost like you were used to, they had music youâd grown up on, like The Clash and Elton John, but a lot of the songs that were decades older than you, were new to them.
And while you knew every lyric to âThe Safety Danceâ and âCome on Eileenâ everyone around you was still trying to learn them, and would jumble them from time to time. But at the young age of two, you were dancing along to The Clash while your dad laughed and danced with you.
Knowing that some songs you loved wouldnât come out for up to twenty years later made you upset, not being able to listen to Nirvana. Suddenly you wanted to be in the car, listening to your dad try to sing along to Ed Sheeran or Taylor Swift. It was always amusing seeing his reaction to the newest songs on the radio while he drove you to school.
There was another thing about this time period that you found weird. They actually had lockers. All of the lockers from your school had been taken out in the late 90âs when a kid hid a gun and drugs in his, so no one had lockers except for in the locker room. So having to remember two different combos was a pain in your ass.
âL/n!â
A heavy sigh escaped your nose as your lips went thin in fake annoyance even though he hadnât fully approached you.
âWhat do you want, Harrington?â You questioned, turning from the open grey locker to see him just a few feet away.
He gave you a look of fake offense as he leaned against the locker next to yours a hand over his on his chest, sadly were the latch of your own was, so you couldnât use the door as a shield,
âHey, now, who said I wanted anything? I just wanna talk to my friend.â
You were kind of friends. He was nice, at least to you. Though youâd seen him be a douchebag to other students. The cliche youâd seen in a movie of highschool. The popular guy who only cared about popularity and the people he was around. And you didnât know why he thought you were a good person to be around, because when you were six you accidently set your curtains on fire while the babysitter fell asleep. And you were pretty sure you gave off âcrazy bitchâ vibes.
You turned back to the locker and shook your head, grabbing your English textbook and looking back to him, a hand holding onto the door while you leaned into it. âOkay, why do you want to talk to me?â You questioned with a fake smile.
âAlright, grumpy. Tommy H, Carol, and I wanna hang out at yours tonight. My parents donât leave for three more days, and  Carolâs mom hates Tommy, and you know how Tommyâs dad is.â He explained, looking down at you.
You hummed in amusement. âNot happening.â You responded, grabbing the hood of his hoodie and placing it in his locker, closing the door in on it. âHave fun.â
âY/n!â He exclaimed in a sudden panic at being stuck in your locker, not being able to pull himself loose. âThis isnât funny, I will tell Mrs. Click!â He threatened as you stepped back, a genuine grin on your face as you looked up at him.
âA tattle tale? Didnât think youâd stoop that low, and also, Mrs. Click? You think Iâm scared of my History teacher? Sheâs afraid of saying âWenchâ out loud while we reading historical texts. Sheâs not intimating.â
Steve nodded a bit in thought. âYeah⊠Okay, maybe I didnât think that through, Iâll go to principal-â
âIf I get suspended, I get suspended.â You shrugged. âFind a way to get me something to listen to music on, and something that has music on it, and then Iâll let you go.â
âAre you⊠Are you bribing me? Y/n L/n is bribing me? The new girl is bribing me.â He said in awe, still grasping onto his hoodie, looking at you with his mouth agape and his eyebrows raised.
When you only tilted your head he groaned, pulling on the cotton material. âFine, Walkman or Record Player?â
âHmm⊠Walkman.â You replied.
âQueen or Blondie?â He questioned, a smile coming across your face as you reached up to the lock.
âBoth.â
Steve rolled his eyes as you unlocked your locker, setting him free. âThat wasnât fair, you look innocent.â He grumbled.
You mimicked his eye roll, closing the locker and walking away through the hall. âFairâ being repeated in your head. Nothing was fair anymore to you. Youâd been normal, just an annoying kid who was obsessed with Greyâs Anatomy, and history. That was what you had to your name. Your friends had once watched the bad uneducational tv show with you just to try and understand your obsession, you dad even had given it a chance, only saying that most of the characters were annoying.
But you only had history now. And some of the things you were supposed to learn in AP European history havenât even happened yet. And it was freaking you out.
What was freaking you out more? Knowing you had a âclassmateâ in your History class, who sat next to you, and was your relative. Your dadâs brother.
Sitting next to him was strange. Because he was your uncle. Heâd been the one who bought you your first bike, and watched you fall off and break your wrist after your dad had let go of the bike.
To say that being his partner on a history project was weird, was an understatement. Because the entire time you felt like hitting your head against the desk, because he didnât really change.
âWhatâs so important about a quote?â
âAre you serious?â
âAs serious as the Titanic.â You responded, brows furrowed.
He stayed quiet for a moment. âI donât know.â He admitted, receiving a chuckle from you as you watched him flip through the book. âI donât even understand this project.â
âCome on, we have to choose a quote from a historical piece of fiction, We were assigned Romeo and Juliet.â You said grabbing your book and flipping to a certain page. âRomeo, oh Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?â You teased, knowing that the page you were on didnât have that in there.
The boy was technically older than you, but right now, you were the same age, and he was shaking his head with a smile. âItâs like she wanted him to be stalking her.â He responded.
âWhat?â
âSheâs asking where he is.â He shrugged. âItâs weird, cause he still doesnât come out when she asks that.â
âThatâs not what she means. Itâs early modern English. Phrases were different. Sheâs asking why he has to be Romeo. In modern words itâd be âRomeo, oh Romeo, why does it have to be Romeo.â Sheâs upset because the guy she likes is in the enemyâs family.â
The boy looked at you, eyes scanning your face for a moment, looking for any hint of you joking, but he didnât he finally spoke. âYou could teach this class better than her.â He said in a hushed voice to make it so Mrs. Click didnât hear.
âNo-â
âL/n!â The two of you snapped your attention to the older woman who was scowling. âBack to work!â
You rolled your eyes and looked back to him as the bell rang. âThatâs our cue.â
The 80âs were weird, and you didnât like them. What with being so similar to home. With your uncle in the same history class as you, and being close to your dad, but older than him and not seeing him as your dad. And knowing people around you who were almost Baby Boomers, and in your time, would reprimand you for the jokes you made and your views of the world.
Being 16 in your time had been easier, able to cheat off websites for homework, and texting, which seemed to have been taken for granted by you.
Here, you couldnât say you didnât have a mom, but rather two dads. Because it was the 80âs and you knew the comments youâd get. You also couldnât say your full name. That the dad you were genetically related to was the one who gave you the second last name that your uncle had and everyone would question it, and it pained you not being able to go by it, because heâd taught you more things than anyone else ever had. Heâd taught you how to ride a book, and said that heâd be disappointed if you ever got ditching class, and that if you were going to do it, not to get caught for his sanity.
You would regret ever coming to this town with him, and you would regret the choice to ever run out of Enzoâs after your other dad yelled at you for being drenched from the rain after you ran in, finding that it was a formal restaurant and not a casual one. Youâd regret going into the woods and getting lost, because all you wanted, was to be held by your dad and have him tell you it was going to be okay, You wanted to hear him walking down the hall late at night when he couldnât sleep and you were hiding under your blankets with your phone, tying not to get caught for being up late.
But you had the fear that youâd never see your dad, as your dad. That youâd have to continue growing up in a time that has been written in history books. That youâd have to watch as technology progressed, and that youâd be conscious and aware for the year you were born.
You were still a kid, even if you didnât look like it. Just six year ago, youâd been in elementary school, and you still got nightmares and went to your dadsâ room because you were still scared of sleeping alone. You hadnât been since, until now. You could barely sleep at night in the unfamiliar room of the motel you were living in, without your parentâs room down the hall.
But you were trying. And you wanted to redo everything, if you could build a time machine, you would. But that hadnât even been available in your time, let alone 83â.

Always awesome to find another MFB blog!! Thanks for the follow btw đ Consider this ask an invitation to share any of your favorite MFB headcannonsđđ
omg hi! thank you for the follow, dude, your blog is awesome đ,, hmm my favorite mfb headcanons...
I think I'll have to say the legendary bladers keeping in touch after defeating nemesis. I just donât think it makes sense for them to split up without another word after saving the world from being destroyed by an angry, ancient god bey. I canât imagine a more profound bonding activity lol.
itâs not initially the bladersâ idea to keep in contact but the WBBAâs. they wanted a way to contact the legendary bladers in case of emergency since they are the most powerful bladers in the world presumably.
(you never know when the world might be destroyed next. could be in the far future. could be next week. the WBBA just wants to be prepared.)
so they give every legendary blader a brand-new phone and hope no one accidentally destroys theirs in whatever crazy dangerous training plan they come up with.
gingka is the one who suggests creating a group chat with everyone which is of course a terrible idea which is why ryo absolutely loves it.
it goes well for about two hours and then yu finds out about the gc and wants to be in it. tsubasa joins to keep an eye on him and madoka joins to keep an eye on everyone. hikaru joins to supervise for the WBBA and after that no one can stop benkei from joining no matter how many burgers kyoya tries to bribe him with. then aguma argues that it would be unfair not to let bao in and suddenly there are way too many people and the gc is way too chaotic.
the first thing kyoya does is mute the chat, put his new phone on Do Not Disturb and proceed not to check his messages for the next two weeks. he only ever writes in the gc when he has another win against a legendary blader to report and to ask who wants to be his next opponent. other than that one message every few weeks, he doesnât really exist in the gc.
benkei travels with kyoya from legendary blader to legendary blader but at least he lets everyone know that theyâre both still alive. he sends a lot of photos in the chat, mostly sneaky, blurry pictures of kyoya, some selfies and pictures of the many different types of food they encounter. he makes everyone jealous with the last one and has to promise to cook some of them for everyone once heâs back.
tsubasa entertains the group chat w daily updates about everyoneâs favorite pet eagle (whose name i donât know but iâm pretty sure tsubasa just called it âeagleâ in the show?? itâs so no one figures out he actually calls it cutesy pet names in private. no one can know). eagle is a riot because she is well trained but also has a mind of her own. i just decided eagle is female. you can play catch with her as long as youâre respectful but in exchange she is allowed to land on your head and try and feed you the fish she just caught. yu likes to message tsubasa suggestions what he should make eagle do next. one time he asked tsubasa to put a wig on her and see what happens. she was very regal about the whole thing.
(i could write so much abt tsubasa and his pet eagle, this whole concept lends itself to so much ridiculousness. iâm going to write a separate post abt them another time.)
you know who the most hilarious texters of the group are? dynamis and aguma. everyone expects them to be as collected and serious as they usually are but. wrong. dynamis lives in a temple on top of a mountain that is protected by many deadly traps. he lives pretty far from human civilization and we can assume he never got many visitors so. i canât imagine thereâs good cell phone reception at mist mountain. has he ever used a phone before? does he even know what the internet is??
same with aguma: beylin fist is an exclusive organization forced into exile and obscurity for many years. their sole goal was to train until they could defeat beylin temple and prove themselves to the world. once again we can assume there was not much surfing the internet going on here.
expectation: dynamis and aguma text with proper punctuation and grammar, do not use emojis, do not understand memes, do not send gifs or anything that isnât a fully formed sentence you could copy and paste for your essay in school that would make your english teacher weep with joy.
reality: dynamis: OMG!! đ± The âš say you are super đ this week, Aguma!! đ€© You should đȘ a lot LOL!! đź (trans: the stars say you are super lucky this week aguma. you should train/fight a lot) (also itâs a tragedy that thereâs no spinning top emoji)
aguma: k iuss l2g l8er? (trans: okay, if you say so. would you like to go [fight] later?)
dynamis: YES!! (trans: yes)
aguma: gr8 cul (trans: great, see you later)
everyone is so confused. at least they can understand what dynamis is saying but what is with the exclamation marks?? the emojis replacing words? the abbreviations in all caps that make the texts look like a middle-aged wine mom on facebook wrote them? donât get them started on aguma and the unintelligible mess he calls a text message. does he just take a bunch of random letters and numbers and throw them together however he sees fit? apparently not because dynamis understands everything he sends even if he is the only one in the gc that does.
dynamis and aguma bonded over their mutual ignorance of everything technology when the gc was first created. yu said lol once in the gc and that was the moment dynamis and aguma learned about chat speak which is why everyone blames yu for this disaster. dynamis thinks the emojis are very helpful and aguma straight up memorized a list of more than 1,500 internet abbreviations. no one has the courage to tell them that nobody actually speaks like that on the internet and that they took it a little too far than is normal.
you know these people that are super nice and soft-spoken in real life but swear like a sailor over text and reveal that they have like a really obscure humor? thatâs yuki. although he usually doesnât say much in a group and feels shy around other people, especially when they are as loud and extroverted as for example yu or king, over text when heâs not face-to-face with them he doesnât feel like he has to watch himself as much. he is usually overly conscious of his actions and words but through the virtual barrier between him and everyone else it makes it much easier for him to just say what he thinks and what he thinks is actually really funny and weird.
yuki actually has a pretty large online following for his fandom blog about various books and tv shows where he very passionately argues over fandom meta and character analysis. because of his active interest in fandom his references can be... a bit obscure and specific. there is always one person in the gc that understands the references and finds them hilarious but everyone else is left thoroughly confused and questioning their sanity.
that is all i have for this for now but iâll add more when i think of it. everyone is of course welcome to add their own ideas!
#this was so much fun tysm for the ask#i'm really sorry for how long this took me i just kept adding onto it and it never seemed to stop D:#mfb#mfb headcanons#metal fight beyblade#beyblade metal fury#i wrote this

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
July 6th, despite my attempts to get over my mental breakdown, the memory I got back with Freya yesterday didn't really help me at all, seeming that the memories I was recovering were mainly focused on hurting me deep inside of me, slowly taking apart what I'm trying to rebuild: my very life...my memories were coming back but some could make me appeased, some would take that role to destroy me, giving me revelations that I never thought to have but I couldn't fight that fact, they were coming back...but at what price? My sanity? My reason to fight?
The morning when I woke up, I was hoping to find Park on the side of the bed, dressing up in her clothes and giving me a beautiful sight to admire but when my eyes went open on the bed, looking in the direction she was always, she wasn't here at all...she wasn't here. That...it caused me to redress myself on the bed, panicked to that fact, the first time that I woke up alone...since I was in that cell...my arms were like shaking, trying to stop them with my hands, my state not well at all...
"Park?" I tried to call her out, looking around the room even if she wasn't here, gathering the strength I was having at the moment to get up from the bed. "Park?" I repeated, trying to catch my breath before starting to walk towards the door.
Even if I was awake, my vision wasn't actually recovering my sleep, seeing some things around the room blurred, including at some moments my own hands, impossible to look at them perfectly. It was like...something bad was kicking off back inside of me...as someone injected me a needle in the eyes, both at the same time and it prompted me to stop myself near the door as I was having my hands on the handle, blinking a lot with them.
It was slowly reestablishing itself but it wasn't perfect and even with that, I couldn't stay too much on my bare feet, half-dressed with nothing covering my legs and...I decided to open the door of the room to leave it and then, slowly walking inside the hallway of the apartment, linking almost every room of the place, crossing through a few pictures of Zasha, Portnova, Dedov...and me...
"Park?" I spoke up, walking in the direction of the living room, almost shouting out her name widely around, my walk looking like a brainless woman, dragging my bare feet on the ground. "Park?" I asked again, soon entering the living room, wanting to cry as my words weren't answered.
"Yirina," Someone talked in the room, it was Zasha's voice that was sitting on their chair near the diner table, getting up from it to approach. "Yirina, you're alright?" They questioned me, in front of me.
"Where's Park? Where is she?" I demanded, my panic coming back in my voice.
"Hey, calm down, calm down," They advised me, my head feeling dizzy, looking down on the ground as they put their hands on my wrists. "Come and have a seat," They said, making me move to get sit on my own chair at the dinner seat. "Here, slowly..." They guided me to sit down., keeping their hands on me as I was almost unresponsive in my moves.
"Thanks...thanks..." I breathed, my eyes narrowing as I could see with the part of my sight, Zasha going to sit next to me on the chair nearby. "Zed...where's Park?" I asked them.
"Wait, take deep breaths and stay calm above all," They suggested, moving along with their chair to stay near me, putting their hands above my heart and my neck, checking my pulse. "Shit, your heartbeat is very high," They commented, sounding astonished & worried.
"What's..." I was going to ask them what was wrong but I stopped myself, preferring to follow their advice to stay calm, feeling my heartbeat going faster than normal.
"Should calm you a bit," Zasha then moved their hands on the back of my own hands, starting to caressing it in a gentle & friendly way and it was seeming to work, their feeling starting to slow down my heartbeat. "It should be okay, how do you feel?" They questioned me, still caressing my hands in case.
"I'm...I'm better, I think," I told them, my heartbeat not beating like a jackhammer in my chest anymore but my vision wasn't the perfect thing now, still recovering very slowly. "Zed...where is...where is Park?"
"Park? She's not here," They replied to me, making me snort, already sensing a tear going to come out of my eyes. "I'm sorry but...she got to go to Century House in an emergency, it was looking like a big problem," They added, removing their hands from me.
"A problem? What kind of problem?" I asked, taking a breath to look in front of me, seeing an empty white plate with a pack of bread and a strawberry ham near it, making me hungry.
"I don't know, she didn't tell me and she wasn't told about it," They responded, raising their shoulders before they sense that I was going to grab the pack of bread, looking at me extend my right arm in its direction. "Wait, let me help," They proposed, not asking if it was okay for me, taking out of the pack two slices of bread before putting them next to the plate along with the jam that they opened for me.
"And Portnova?" I demanded, not having seen or heard her.
"She volunteered to go with Park earlier this morning as I decided to stay here to wait for you to wake up and see how you were," They revealed to me, my right hand struggling to actually grab up the knife that was near the empty plate as Zasha was looking at me.
"I'm okay, don't worry," I whispered, trying to reassuring them in a low voice as I was grabbing the knife in my hand to pass it inside the jam to put some strawberry on the bread, staying slow in moves. "I'm okay..." I repeated, putting the knife aside before slowly opening my mouth to eat a part of the bread with jam on it, the only thing that was nice in her if we didn't count my state.
"Yirina, you're still facing that breakdown...it's..." Zasha wanted to continue in their words before they stopped themself.
"I know, it's hard," I commented, putting my left arm on the table while holding the bread in my right hand. "Each night & day are the same things: going up, eat alone in the day, watching TV, take a rest, eat with you all, go to sleep with Park, and then, repeat," I resumed basically how my days were now to them.
"I'm sorry about this, we should be with you instead of going to work," They apologized to me, giving me a little smile on my face despite that I was still not well inside of me.
"Yes but...someone has to continue the fight, isn't that true?" I admitted, taking another bite of the bread. "I'm not in the shape to fight but you three are, not me," I continued, lamenting myself.
"But without you, it's...weird...not normal," Zasha avowed, looking at their hands. "Last day, I...stepped inside Park's office and...she was crying, I couldn't talk to her, she's...suffering..." They added, feeling bad in their voice and hearing that...it caused a tear to come out, the first one of the day.
"It's painful for me to hear that, it's not helping," I stated as I was no longer hungry to eat that bread in my hands, putting it back on the plate after eating half of it. "My life is only just a damn lie, the truth trying to show up but it can't," I snorted, passing my hand below my nose before looking at Zasha. "You're here for me, you, Park & Portnova, the only things that weren't a lie before everything,"
"I'm sorry, Yirina," They said, looking down at their feet. "We want you to be better, it's painful for us by a lot, I didn't see you like since a long time," They exclaimed.
"Really?" I looked at them with curiosity.
"Yeah but...I don't think that's a good idea to tell you that now," Zasha gently refused to tell me more even if it could help me to know more about me. "No, I can't tell you, I'm sorry,"Â They insisted, having seen my face that wanted to know.
"Presuming that it's bad?" They sadly nodded at my sentence I said, causing me to sigh sadly away. "Resuming my whole fucking life: bad," I sighed for good, shaking my head. "Shot, brainwashed, shot again, having a coma, waking up 3 there years later, not the life I wanted but no choice to do it," I recalled, literally saying what brought me to live again now. "Was I even agreed to get out of it?"
"Yes, because you didn't deserve it at all," They replied, a little smile on their face, moving their right hand on the top of my right one too. "No one wanted this but by the odds, you came back to fulfill your promises, to honor them,"
"I'm doing it because this is what's my life now, protecting my friends & love from any dangers," I asserted, trying to sound positive to me, feeling some pain inside of my chest, causing me to get my left hand above it along with where the pain was. "And of course, I took the risk to rediscover how I was before I was left for dead for the first time," I continued.
"It must be hard for you, I'm sorry..." They apologized again before they decided to get up from their chair.
"It isn't something I don't want you to face, you don't want to see each day your life coming back, discovering with who you were friends with, who was your lover, how your life as a lie & went to shit, you don't want that," I claimed and they nodded at me, understanding that I couldn't let them face that situation in my life...no one can hurt them like that.
"No one wants to face that, no one," They muttered, checking up their hands before moving to grab the black jacket from their chair.
"You're leaving now?" I asked them.
"Yeah...I'm...I'm sorry but I would have like to stay here with you but I'm needed too," They responded to me, putting on their jacket.
"It's okay, I know what to do," I reassured them with a grin before they moved to grab their keys on the table near their empty plate. "I should be fine,"
"Fine," They whispered, walking towards the front door to unlock it. "If you need anything, call us, we'll come quickly," They reminded me about it and I nodded, the phone was just behind me near the main couch of the living room.
"Of course, I will," I muttered as Zasha opened the door widely, avoiding Beans that was going to get out, taking them in their arms.
"Hey, you stay here, can't take you at work, you know that," Zasha said, talking to Beans and holding her like a baby as I slowly got up from my chair, staying carefully to approach them. "Here, go with Yirina," Zasha then gently gave me Beans in my arms, now holding her.
"Don't worry, I'm taking care of her...or taking care of me," I scoffed in a funny tone, even surprising me.
"Okay, later, Yirina, take care & stay safe," Zasha waved at me, using my hands briefly to wave at them too before they closed the door after stepping out of the apartment, hearing the lock through the door, locking it.
I was now alone, ready to get myself into another day of loneliness inside the apartment, having Beans to accompany me in my loneliness despite that she couldn't talk, only hearing me telling her my problems, responding by little meows to me. I let her free softly on the ground before starting my day, going to clean up the diner table of the food that was still on it and the plates, gathering everything to put it back in the kitchen.
Once I was finished cleaning up the dishes, still having Beans around my feet with her meow, checking if she was good in terms of food & water, and filling her bowl for water after I found out that she was missing some, I decided to go inside our bedroom, wanting to get myself changed but that idea, I gave it up rapidly once I was inside the room, knowing that I wasn't going to get outside for a long time...badly...
I was going to leave the room until someone caught my attention on the nightstand of Park's side of the bed, looking like a little note that I wasn't able to see when I woke up this morning, prompting me to look at it and discovering what was marked on it: -Sorry to leave earlier, I was called by the MI6, got a problem to deal with, I'll try to call you today, be well & stay safe, love...- Park
That note was giving me a bit of comfort despite what was happening with her, she was making sure to inform me of why she wasn't going to be there when I will wake up, I shouldn't have panicked like that but...my head was still struggling to regain consciousness of the bloody situation. I then put back the note where it was before heading out of the room to get myself on the main couch of the living room.
There, instead of putting it on the TV to watch it, I wasn't really in the mood to actually look at it, causing me to lie down on the couch, crossing my arms, preferring in fact to already go have a big nap for the remainder of the morning before preparing my lunch for noon. As I was peacefully sleeping on the couch, I suddenly woke up at 11 AM by the sound of a phone ringing near me, causing me to take it.
"Yes?" I said, my voice trying to retrieve its energy.
"It's...me, Yiri...Park," It was Park herself through it, making me smile at hearing her voice now.
"Oh...Park, so nice to hear your voice," I commented, redressing myself on the couch to sit back on it perfectly, staying near the phone.
"Yes, me too," She affirmed, sounding low in her voice. "Listen, I'm sorry about this morning, we've got called and I had to leave quickly for Century House," She apologized, meaning it in the tone she was using.
"It's okay, what was the problem?" I asked her curiously after referring that it was good since I saw that note.
"It's...well, we got the news that Lukas Ritter and this I.B are in England, the MI5 spotted them in London but we lost their tracks since," She revealed to me as it was since days that we were all waiting for this to happen. "And another thing is that a part of Zasha's team's important files about Ritter & Petrov disappeared," She added.
"How's that?" I raised an eyebrow, looking at the shutdown TV.
"Apparently, someone managed to get in, steal those files, and got away without been seen, it happened last night," She replied to me.
"Shit," I cursed, putting my left hand on my face. "So, Perseus somehow succeeded to get inside Century House...fuck..." I cursed again, looking down at my bare feet, thinking about it.
"Yeah, that's pretty fucked up but...I shouldn't stress you too much now," She said, talking mostly about herself. "You're not in shape to work and stressing about it...no, I don't want it," She added, sure of herself
"At least, I'm...I'm aware of what happened," I told her, raising my shoulders and having a little grin forming on my face. "Is...is everything alright?" I asked her, remembering what Zasha told me hours ago
"Uhm...yeah, yeah," She responded but deep inside of me, I could sense the lie in her voice, finding it too hard to believe. "Okay...I'm not...I can't be right," She confessed to me, using the real tone she was hiding. "I'm looking at the seat you're using and...shit, I can't stand it to look at it without you on it for days, now," She affirmed, feeling that she was going to cry.
"I'm sorry, Park, I'm sorry," I apologized for my absence, blaming myself for it. "You would like to be with you but now..." I checked up myself before seeing my hands, my left one slowly trembling. "Uhm...Park..." I tried to say it as it was something that was weird and couldn't control, trying to wrap my right hand around it but it wasn't stopping. "Park!"
"What? What's wrong?" She asked me through the phone as my right hand was joining the shaking, my head trying to freak out.
"Come...come...I'm...shit...please..." I ordered before I inadvertently hang up the phone to its place, losing control of my hands.
In a panic, feared, I decided to got up from the couch, needing to join up my bed as I was feeling that I couldn't stay on the couch, trying to struggle to fight what was hurting me inside of my head, my chest hurting me and my heartbeat...starting to go faster like it did earlier this morning, no one able to calm it down as I was slowly walking towards our bedroom, needing to lay down.
Then, I started to hear voices inside my ears but it was impossible to actually recognize them perfectly, all muffled and talking at the same time with everyone...it was impossible to stop them, even my hands covering my ears weren't stopping as I was walking, leaned against the wall to find something to hold me back before I opened the door of the room, the voices becoming clear but still unrecognizable.
'You're one of us'...' You're belonging to us'...' We end the asset'...' You're going back home'...that what I was hearing clearly, trying to remember who tell what but now, I was trying to control myself until one clear voice came in...Stitch's voice, his own voice...in my head, getting louder & louder than the others...until he tells it...inside my head...
"We've got a job to do!" That is what I heard and at this moment, I couldn't resist anymore in my moves, causing me to fall on my back on the bed, starting to convulse on it, impossible to control it, my eyes slowly shutting as the only thing I was seeing in my sight...was Park herself storming in the room...impossible to see how she was...
It was impossible to see her too...and then, my eyes closed...

S3A-E6
Oh boy, here we go, Motel California is just full of absolute bullshit. *sigh* letâs get started then.
Read Moreâs are good for the environment (or so iâve heard)
Before we start, I wanna let you guys know that Iâm just not gonna comment on the Jennifer/Derek scenes. I just. I really honestly cannot do it. I donât care. No. Also as this is well, this episode, please be advised that there will be extensive suicide mentions.
Thoughts:
I know this is random as hell, but that truck looks like mine. Oh, and look at the date, itâs only like nine years older than mine. nice.
why does it look like heâs nursing an arrow wound on his leg? Is it just me? That doesnât look like a claw mark.
Can...can I just point out (god, i already need the tag) that....that theyâre drawing a DIRECT parallel between this ARGENT HUNTER and Scott with the whole âlifting up the shirt to reveal the bite on their sideâ thing? Like, itâs a perfect replica of when scott does it in the first episode. And they donât do that with the others. Jacksonâs bite was just Visible when he got out of the water and we never see Isaac, and Ericaâs bites. Boydâs was a whole sitting down thing on the Zamboni with his hoodie. They didnât even do the same thing with Victoria ARGENTâs bite. OH and heâs wearing the heirloom necklace from season 1.
Wait, hold up. So, he just got bitten that night, but heâs already gonna shift? What? The bite works that fast?
....heâs from MA? Why tf is he in california? Also, heâs 27 apparently, oof.
Finstock...honey...you ran out of keys when you have like 6 students behind you still.
why is Finstock paying for Allison and Lydiaâs room as well? Heâs just that nice, or did he honestly forget they arenât on the track team?
Maybe itâs just the Sterek shipper in me talking, but someone wanna explain why the fuck Stiles would put Derek on the suspect list for HUMAN SACRIFICES? Let alone TWICE? He literally just helped Derek get his pack back and has been working with them the whole time? Why???Would??He???Suspect???DEREK??? OR his sister???
I totally forgot that Scott promised Stiles he would watch Star Wars after they got back to Beacon Hills. SCOTT YOU ASSHOLE COME ON.
yeouch. Youâre putting a huge damper on my Stydia brotp here Stiles. jeez.
*Movie trailer voice* Heâs a hunter whose family has been torn apart by a human/werewolf war, who refuses to give up the fight against a species his clan has persecuted for centuries. He does weird detective work that makes no sense and looks like a Dark Souls ghost repeat of someoneâs death. He insists on âstaying out of thingsâ but then follows people around getting mad when things go wrong. Coming this summer, Chris Argent must actually learn.....to get off his ass and help.
WHY DO THEY ALL DO THE CLAW THING??? Yes, they are obviously claw marks. Why the fuck do you need to put your fingers on it?
Honestly, it makes me so sad because STiles is trying okay? Like, Boyd was pissed that Stiles acted like his friend when they never hung out, and STiles is trying to do the chill smalltalk thing, trying to point out things they have in common. Heâs trying to MAKE FRIENDS and Boyd is just....uh...possessed? And still getting candy?? Huh?
Honestly, Iâd do the same thing Stiles. Get that candy.
Allison, whyâd you get in the shower if Lydia wasnât back with the towels yet? Howâre you planning on getting to them? You expect Lydia to come into the bathroom while youâre showering to put one there? #allydia confirmed.
WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS? I ALWAYS FORGET THIS HAPPENED. WHAT THE FUCK?
Okay, okay, look at that adaptation we got going on here. Remember, okay, the last time Allison was harassed sexually (which, holy shit I canât believe this has happened twice) it was by Jackson, who was possessed by Matt. So when Scott gets super fucking creepy, instead of freaking out, her FIRST instinct is to check if heâs still himself, if heâs okay. She jumps to âpossessedâ and tries to take care of him WHILE SHEâS NAKED IN THE SHOWER AND BEING CREEPED ON. Which, while absolutely horrendously terrifying, is also an interesting character growth. We get to see how Allison responds to the same situation, but a season later.
Really not a fan of the weird-ass focus they put on this womanâs stoma ( think thatâs the word) like...are you seriously trying to make that a part of the âhorrorâ aspect of this episode? For real? what is wrong with you?
So I did the research, and actually, hotels arenât required to tell anyone about deaths in their rooms. But they also renovate the entire room basically to clean that kind of thing up. Replacing walls and anything that can absorb liquid and even electronics. Oh, the things I google for this research. *sigh*
So, she says âsince opening.â So...why does it even matter that an Argent was here? ALSO...why does the wolfsbane whistle matter? Clearly the whistle wasnât the cause of the last howevermany (apparently 40) years of deaths, so why would it be the cause of these ones?? They gave like fifty different answers to the question of why the wolves (and only the wolves) tried to kill themselves and none of them make sense?
Hey, so...what the fuck even is this possession thing going on? What is it actually doing to these wolves? Why are they getting affected at different times? or did they all get affected at the same time, and the scene with Ethan and Danny is supposed to have been happening at the same time as the bit with Scott and Stiles? Is it supposed to like, make them more impulsive, or just drive them to do what they want to do? Boyd wants some candy, and he will get some candy. Isaac wants to watch tv so he just sits there and clicks through static endlessly. Scott wants to......fuck Allison?
Honestly? Good dad moment here. Chris. Good Dad Moment. I just, feel so bad for Allison. That when it comes down to it, she will always end up lying to her family to save Scottâs ass. Either when theyâre dating and her dad wants to kill him for it, or when Scott shows up in her bathroom and grabs her and she canât possibly tell her dad about it without Scott getting shot.
WHY do they treat that moment like itâs a big shocker that Allison was there? She TOLD her dad she would be going to help them. This shouldnât be a surprise to him???
....wait how was allison on the phone with her dad, fully dressed and outside, but now sheâs in her bra and drying her hair in the bathroom? TIMELINES. TW doesnât HAVE them.
OKay, so Lydia says itâs only been 40 years, which would mean that the motel was only 6 years old when Alexander Argent died in it. Plus...Lydia literally says that approx. 4 deaths a year is a reasonable number? So...either this place has a lot of suicides, or it doesnât. WHich one? Also, just because you have the warning at the beginning of the episode doesnât mean you need to go into such callous detail about the different kinds of suicides that took place. God, thatâs so tasteless.
As horrific as this moment is, I feel like I should point out that the behavior/conversation that Lydia hears...itâs nothing like what happened with the wolves. Theyâre talking about it, clearly nervous. But the wolves are stoic and silent. What? WHAT IS THIS PLOTLINE? IS THE MOTEL causing these suicides somehow, or are the werewolves poisoned by wolfsbane?? THESE ARE TWO DIFFERENT PLOTS. WHICH ONE IS IT?
god, I just..I canât not point out the contrast here! Lydia is saying she heard two people die in a room across the hall, and after leading Allison there they find an empty room going through renovation. All she has to say is âthey were hereâ and Allison believes her. No hesitation. Stilesâ childhood best friend literally shows up dead and Scott refused to believe a word he said about human sacrifice until Deaton confirmed it. Yet Lydia and Allison have known each other less than a year, and Scott and Stiles are supposed to have been friends for ages.
I just...I hate fisheye lenses. they donât give me any horror vibes at all, they just look stupid. Personal preference.
Boyd, honey, those things are supposed to have bags in them so they can be reused.
WHAT THE FUCK WAS THIS SCENE? WHAT THE FUCK? WHY WOULD THEY EVER BRING THIS UP JUST TO KILL BOYD OFF LATER? WHY?
Lydia is actually very correct, remember what I said about the renovating?
God, this episode has so much...just horrible shit. Iâm gonna fucking ignore it for my own sanity and just focus on how wolfy it is that Isaac wouldnât want to sleep under the covers at a hotel because it would probably smell. Plus, bare feets. Also, whyâd he go to bed so early? Did Boyd go get the ice for him, since heâs sweating so much?
I love that they are roommates.
Okay, I donât understand. Three more suicides are about to happen. Boyd, Ethan, and I guesss...Scott? So what the fuck was up with Isaac? I just...theyâre supposed to like. give into their their worst thoughts or something? Boydâs guilt about his sister. Ethanâs....something. Scottâs...uh...self-hatred? Or, I think itâs more his lack of self-confidence? He doesnât hate himself, he just doesnât think he can keep going. And Isaacâs ingrained guilt of doing the wrong thing? His fear of being useless...I guess? So is it supposed to make them suicidal and Isaacâs a weird case, or does it only do that sometimes, and the rest of the time it just leaves you paralyzed with fear? This makes literally no sense.
Where has Stiles been this entire time?
Uh...thatâs not how Alphas work? Just because Derek died, it wouldnât make Scott an Alpha. Scott didnât kill him. Even if Derek Was dead, it wouldâve been from impact or from the wounds Ennis gave him. In no universe would Scott become an alpha. If it was the impact, Cora would become Alpha, as the next blood relation. If it was Ennis, the Hale Alpha spark would be gone/soaked up by Ennis.
Okay...so, Stiles was in the bathroom brushing his teeth, and he didnât hear Scott talking to the phone?
*snort* Stiles has a Nokia phone. How much do you wanna bet his dad bought that for him after the Pool Scene because he was trying to make sure Stiles didnât break another phone?
Did...did Stiles just leave the room with the toothbrush in his mouth?
Okay, I get that this is a teen drama...but why does it have to be so obsessed with 16 and 17 year olds having sex? Seriously? Itâs not the common occurrence people think it is? Now, if these were college age people...or, hell, even then it wouldnât be this fucking common. Seriously. I donât want eye-candy from someone whoâs supposed to be 17 at MOST. Teenagers watching this might like the eye candy, but when I watched this at 17 I STILL was sick of the sexy scenes. Knock it off.
Also. Ethan IS STILL A FUCKING MURDERER.
.....uh....Ethan...do you not understand human anatomy? Giving Danny the bite wouldnât remove the metal bars in his chest. It might heal the cartilage or whatever, but it wouldnât REmove the BARS. Oh see thatâs just creepy. Wait. OKay, are you telling me that Ethanâs thing that he wants, with this possession thing, is to bite Danny? AND HOW DOES DANNY NOT RESPOND TO THAT? HEâs supposed to know about werewolves, which means he HAS to be getting what Ethanâs going for. WTF?
...what the FUCk kind of voldemort âlove and monstersâ kinda bullshit was that? What does that have to do with Ethanâs deepest fear/insecurity?
I am...so confused. FIrst off, I love having Allison, Lydia, and Stiles all chillinâ trying to figure things out. THatâs amazing. But how do they know somethingâs up with Isaac? Also, it contradicts what I was theorizing before when Allison says the last time she saw Scott like that it was a full moon. Now Iâm even more creeped out? WHy would they have her fully believe that itâs Scott, and just...let him be a fucking creep? Why would they openly admit that heâs been that terrifying with her before and then just...be chill about it? Also, when did she actually see Scott act like that? When he did it on his second moon Allison never saw him bc Derek tackled him into the woods. When did Scott go all creeper on her? Is this a REgular OCCUrREncE?
I know it was wasnât intentional, but itâs such an adhd mood for Stiles to see the paper sticking out of the bible and just snatch at it. most people would call that âattention to detailâ but like...I just see it as âwtf is this, gotta know gotta knowâ mooood.
Why does Stiles go running to the next room like itâs an emergency, and what is the relevance of these articles in the bibles? LIke, yeah, you knew there were a ton of suicides. How does this help?? God, itâs like they were trying to make it a mini-horror film, but they just suck at understanding what the right order is to put things. FInding those articles shouldâve been something that happened at the beginningin order to create a sense of unease, not in the middle of figuring things out!
how exactly did Stiles get the damn door open if it was locked? For that matter, how did Ethan know the handsaw was there? Was he on his way to talk to Lydia and Allison, or was he heading for Scott and Stilesâ room to get help? WHatâs going on???
Thank you Allison for not just Standing There. And Lydia for having a BRAIN. <3
HOW DID STILES HOLD BACK ETHAN? Ethan IS AN ALPHA? HOW?
OKay. I know I said I wouldnât comment on these scenes with Jennifer, but this is just a general observation. DEREK. YOU HAVE A CELL PHONE. YOU ARE PERFECTLY CAPABLE OF CALLING PEOPLE FROM THE BED.
What...what does that mean Ethan? âYou probably shouldnât have.â WHat?
I know itâs supposed to be for the Allison/Scott angle, but I just love Lydia and Stiles heading to save the pack. *sigh*
I gotta say, I actually really respect Stiles for straight up telling Lydia about the parallels heâs seeing. Rather than hide it from her, heâs trying to get to the root of the problem, point blank and heâs being honest with her about his worries that she might be involved without even knowing it. And she listens and doesnât get immediately defensive. This communication is SO GOOD. Stydia BROTP.
Iâm fucking on the verge of tears. Sinqua, your acting is just...like, you barely speak in this scene and yet your face is just??So pained?
Bare feets. I know I point it out a lot, but like, compared to kali, who keeps her claws out all the time even in like a fucking hospital. Itâs so cute to see Boyd and Isaac wandering barefoot in their hotel room. Just, the level of calm it implies, despite the situation. They feel so safe with each other.
ALSO did Boyd go through all of that while Isaac was under the bed?
WAIT WHAT? WHy is Lydia suddenly all pissed off? WHAT? That makes no sense! But then when she says his name, she doesnât sound upset at all?? WHAT?
ALSO, I thought this was supposed to be about suicides? Why did they add this totally random (and horrific) thing? It has nothing to do with BoYD! JUST BECAUSE YOU PUT A TRIGGER WARNING DOESNâT MEAN YOU NEED TO MUSH AS MUCH FUCKED UP SHIT AS POSSIBLE INTO ONE EPISODE. GOD. Itâs like those people who assume just because theyâre allowed to do R rated shit, they have to have random sex scenes in their tv show.
where did Scott get gasoline? Like...where?
God fucking damn it, how fucking demonizing can you get, fucking juxtapositioning Scottâs suicidal monologue about Derek suffering and being dead, then jumping to Derek fucking someone instead of telling anyone heâs alive? What the fuck is wrong with these people? Why is it literally ANY TIME Stiles or Derek are in some way happy (NOT that Iâm considering Derek at that moment in time Happy or in any way okay) they always make it out to be the most horrible thing ever? Itâs like I said before, Stiles smiling on the field because he actually gets to play lacrosse? Jacksonâs about to die. Stiles happy because heâs going to play a game in class? His best friend is missing. Derek....Iâm not even going to give whatâs going on a name. But then they just layer that over Scott...what even is he doing? Everyone else actually tried to kill themselves. Why is he just...standing there? Are they seriously trying to make the claim that his strength of will is so strong heâs the only one could can hold out against the...whatever the fuck is causing this? Jesus fucking christ do you have to turn him into Jesus every time? SERIOUSLY?
YOU DIDNâT THOUGH. SCOTT YOU LITERALLY REFUSED TO FIGHT BACK. YOU PLANNED A RENDEVOUS WITH DEUCALION BEHIND EVERYONEâS BACK BECAUSE YOU INSISTED FIGHTING BACK WAS WRONG. YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN MURDERED IN COLD BLOOD IF DEREK AND THE OTHERS HADNâT COME TO FIND YOU.
...I get that this is supposed to be an emotional moment, but why the fuck does Scottâs monologue about how much he sucks have to drag Stiles down with him? Stiles was literally always good at lacrosse. He never got âbetterâ before being put on the field. You saying that the both of you were ânothingâ is a terrible, horrible thing to say because youâre implying that because Stiles didnât get the bite like you did, the only thing that makes him more than nothing is being your friend. How does Scott manage to be a total asshole even when heâs in the middle of explaining why he wants to die?
AGAIN WITH THE RANDOM PLOTLINES. DAVIS WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU? IS THE HOTEL HAUNTED, OR IS THE WHISTLE FULL OF WOLFSBANE OR IS THE DARACH ACTIVELY MAKING THEM KILL THEMSELVES? WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON? ANd why would the Darach be making them kill themselves?? THey donât match any of her sacrifice requirements! This makes no sense with the plotline you follow for the rest of the season!
WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SCENE? Scott was NOWHERE NEAR Ethan? WHY THE FUCK DID HE GIVE SCOTT THE CREDIT FOR SAVING HIS LIFE? And why would he thank him for it, when he told Stiles he shouldnât have been saved? WHAT IS GOING ON?
Also, why does Ethan have like, a bruise thing on his cheek? Is that...is that a skin thing, or like, a show thing?
This doesnât solve the problem of Allisonâs car being stuck with an empty tank at the side of the road halfway to Beacon Hills.
dude. you realize that was literally 34 years ago? Deucalion would have to be like 50. and even then he wouldâve been a fucking 16 year old Alpha. So that makes Deucalion more likely in his 60s. Also, why the fuck do you care Chris? This is such a random fucking thing. It makes no sense. What the fuck does it matter now?
Last Thoughts: What the fuck even is this episode? Itâs like this steaming dumpster fire of half-assed ideas and loose ends to plots weâll never see and really shitty horror movie vibes. Weâre talking D List or maybe E list horror movies. Iâm honestly disgusted? I canât remember the last time I had to watch something so tasteless and cruel and insensitive in every single way?
.....on to the next episode, I guess. God, I need to change all of this in the rewrite, and I donât know if I can actually make it good?
